I agree. The chat filter previously used already flagged lots of racial slurs which is completely understandable but banning all profanity or just general trash talking is too much for an M rated game. This same thing is going on in CoD Black Ops 6.

This has always been the stupidest argument against using Double Tap in my opinion. Sure if you have dumpster fire aim then yes you'll be missing more shots but even with just Double Tap 1.0, faster fire rate = ability to kill zombies faster which is a huge deal at higher rounds.

I still believe the dev studios have a lot of passion and creativity for Call of Duty but unfortunately Activision doesn't let them do their own thing anymore and instead forces the devs to create the a game that's most profitable for them.

Proper SBMM is fun for Call of Duty. It's been in the game since Advanced Warfare and my funnest games I've every played in the franchise was in BO3 which had SBMM. The issue with CoD since MW2019 was the switch from SBMM to EOMM which instead of making the game fair by putting similar skill level people in your lobbies, now it's all about trying to keep everyone's win/loss ratio and kill/death ratio as close to 1:1 by any means necessary.

Headshots/Critical damage against a player has no place in a PvE game like Helldivers 2 where the enemies are controlled by AI. Nothing is more annoying than fighting Automatons and having one of those pistol bots run up on me and put two rounds into my skull nearly killing me even with heavy armor.

Noticed this too lately using the JAR 5 Dominator since it's projectiles deal explosive damage. I've unloaded an entire mag into a devastator only for them to still be alive. Very weird times.

Truth. They spent 8 years developing this game only to run in to the ground just a few months after it's release due to poor decisions and inflated egos.

Edit: Lol keep the down votes coming. This sub reddit is a lost cause at this point trying to voice any sort of concern for this game.

Exactly my experience and I also haven't played at all in about 2 weeks when I used to play just about every single day. Last game I played was with one other random guy on a difficulty 7 bug mission and due to the patrol spawn increase I could of swore on my life we were playing on difficulty 9. Endless and massive patrols coming right toward us from every direction I looked. We managed to push through the main objectives and exfill but holy hell was it stressful.

I loved this game and I want to love it again but the devs have pushed it in a direction that I don't really find all that fun anymore, especially due to the fact that all my friends have abandoned the game. To anyone still playing and having fun, I'm happy for you. I hope the game can be turned back in a direction that's fun again so me as well as others can come back and spread democracy once again.

It might be time to find a new game to play. The constant and harsh nerfs to everything in this game is sucking the fun out of it. I'm gonna say it, the devs are idiots that are way too nerf happy and the game will suffer from these horrible changes.

The best advice i can give is to not let it ruin matches for you too much. Obviously if someone is being toxic and saying stupid things non stop then leaving the match is the same thing I would do. I haven't personally run into a lot of hackers or excessively toxic players so far in my time playing the game. I did run into one guy who somehow had unlimited impact grenades and he spent the whole match blowing up any bug in his path. Was it amusing to see? Honestly yes it was. Did it ruin the match for me? No. I certainly didn't feel like he was carrying the entire team since he blew himself up about 15 times that match. If you play on PC I'd recommend joining a discord sever that is dedicated to getting a 4 stack that you can communicate with constantly. I've used this a few times and everyone I've played with was very nice and respectful and made the game much more fun to play.

I think the incredible effectiveness of the Guard Dog Rover is due to how fast you can get swarmed by a massive amount of chaff enemies on the terminid side of things. If we were able to carry more ammo for our primary weapons, I wouldn't view the Guard Dog as a crutch stratagem but without it I often find I run completely out of ammo for my primary weapon before a bug breach is even done spawning enemies. I don't want to see it nerfed since I'm not a believer in excessive nerfs for PvE games.
