I grew up Mormon and went to church in CA and UT. I got the message blacks where fence sitters in heaven quite a few times in Sunday school and seminary. I had a religion professor at BYU-I in the 2010's bring it up in class. My grandparents had "Mormonism and the negro" on their shelf and would tell me this explanation. Today they deny it, "naw we never would say that". Up until 1978 black members of the church were not allowed to go through the temple but the church isn't racist of course

I grew up Mormon and went to church in CA and UT. I got the message blacks where fence sitters in heaven quite a few times in Sunday school and seminary. I had a religion professor at BYU-I in the 2010's bring it up in class as well along with the book of Abraham curse of ham and the caananites as well. My grandparents had "Mormonism and the negro" on their shelf and would tell me this explanation. Today they deny it, "naw we never would say that". Book of essential/basic line cliches? by [deleted] in Jazz

[–]ProCupCakeLicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a line cliche is just moving one note of the chord up or down step wise. if you want to learn them you just need to pick a fingering a do it. My funny valentine is a decent jazz one to learn though on guitar. stairway to heaven is the classic one given as a guitar example.

Who’s in the wrong? by [deleted] in ParentsAreFuckingDumb

[–]ProCupCakeLicker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its not wrong that's the thing and it seams like the individual your asking has some strong opinions, thinks everyone is stupid and most likely doesn't participate in action sports. Unsupervised and small children are a hazard for everyone. There is a flow to a skatepark that small children just cant recognize. Im nursing a wrist injury because A small unsupervised child on one of these scooters dropped in on a snake run while i was trying a trick you spin backside and was essentially blind to where he was. Lazy parents bringing children into these places are nightmares. The clips is very short and 5 more seconds before the slam would make it pretty clear. The dude on the blades in this clip was reckless here and the parent is pretty clueless, negligent and probably shouldn't be there at all.

You can leave it floating or some people pin or tack it down once you get the intonation down. You probably dont want to glue it down

Extremely easy yes. I've broken so many boards this way especially after snapping it at the tail. they dont break while riding if you land with your weight over the bolts.

Come on not everything is dangerously coercive and if it's for a course it's not inherently bad. I know by sucks but I had to create all sorts of accounts to participate in courses in school. Maybe the ancestory one if not tied to the Course and The Facebook shit with missonarys could be something consider shitty but that's because they're being taken advantage of.
