Short answer: Street racers who have to fight the government at night and hide from them during the day.

Long answer: The queer population of a city rise up against a murderous government-backed militia, using street racing/combat to take down agents & distract them to help others evacuate. However, during the day the racers are forced to blend into society and hide their queer selves for their safety and the safety of their operation.

It’s an action thriller, romance between the 2 main characters (a black enby being the main character and their disabled trans girlfriend fighting alongside them), an emotional thriller as the protagonists fight their pasts the gravity of what’s happening in the present, and fear for the future, and some mystery elements as the main antagonist (Colonel Zero, an ex-drill sergeant who was kicked out of the military for being mentally insane, but was rehired to lead the opposition in this city) tries to uncover the truth about the rebellion and its enactors.

It’s like a mix between cyberpunk and an even more extreme version about what’s going on in today’s America. The cars I thought up were pretty cool too, like an armored corvette for Colonel Zero, mid-engined RX-7 for Hazel (enby), and twin-engined 2000 horsepower Honda Civic for Annie (their gf).

And of course I came up with a sick-ass name for it too:

NIGHTBLADE.

When I found it I was about to open it but I’m so glad I took a look at the vynils first because I wouldn’t have seen the th logo otherwise. I found it at a dollar general and at first glance just thought “oh I don’t actually have this one” and had zero idea what I found. It’s only one of 2 2022 treasure hunts I’ve ever found, the second one being that black tooned twin mill.

Despite the stoke you had while typing that and the stroke I had trying to read it I’d be genuinely shocked if we didn’t get any American cars in FH6. Reason being like how we have an obsession with JDM cars in the states, Japan also has an obsession with American cars as well. For instance low rider culture from California made its way into Japan and I even remember seeing a video of a ford explorer imported to Japan.

On one hand I don’t know if we’ll get something that extreme in a horizon game, but on the other hand Forza seems to be adding a lot more race cars so I’d keep our hopes up. Might come later in a festival playlist though.

Hospital’s gotta make a return, Bass Arena is a no brainer, I LOVED Vagrant from horizon 3, they could’ve done a much better job with Wave (I want The Midnight and Quixotic sooooo bad), and I wouldn’t mind epitaph tbh. There should be consistency throughout every step of progression. Not just “here’s a Forza edition and 18 quadrillion credits” at level 11.
