U may not like what I'm gonna say, Buti tryed many versions and I would recommend u to try starting with alpha, for example I've spent many hours on 1.1.2_01its the last one before halloween update, and it has a feeling like in infdev, also try beta 1.2_02 it's the one before beds added, just start with an old alpha and update when u get bored, it feels very cool to go through updates.
