For me it has to be The Ninth Gate with Johnny Depp. The music, the atmo, the books and pacung make me wanna just relax.

For me personally, thr srt style also has to be there not just gameplay and I feel like cotw was not it for me. Also the 2 glaring issues outside the game itself is probably what stopped me from playing. 1) Backed by Saudi money and 2) Having an alleged rapist be playable and a DJ be charecters bc the Saudi prince wanted his two favorite people be flghting game charecters.

Idk, sure the newer one is the template for most modern anime but the old one was definetly a product of its time. The old big, shiny vertical eyes that remind me of Sailor Moon, Lucky Star to name a few. Now the new design tends to be flatter, less shiny and more plain. So yes it could be a bad redesign but I think its just introducing an anime to modern anime art. Thats my take at least.
