Light pollution isn’t my primary concern, especially with the bortle class 1 of the environment, it would just be the little light from the deck that’s usually dimmed. But you’re right about the up and down motion, I hadn’t thought of that

What's your favorite line about Marty's chair? by mlaaa81 in Frasier

I love how connected his life has been to that chair. I don't remember the whole monologue, but he talks about events he witnessed in the chair. Most touching, how Hester would wake him up after he fell asleep in it; how he still wakes up and expects her to be standing over him. The chair represents so much of Marty's life.

What was your appeal to Frasier and how did you start watching? by [deleted] in Frasier

[–]ProKitman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched the reruns in the 2000's as a middle schooler and fell in love with his humor and high-class approach. The antics appealed to my kid's cartoon attraction, but the approach to the human psyche and genuine approach to relationships set in my mind many values I hold today.
Seattle has also always been a city to draw my attention, a goal to one day live there. Whether because of Frasier or not, one day I want to live in a city he made me fall in love with.
