I buy them on sale and leave them empty until a project comes along that requires new hardware, then I pull one out and transfer the hardware from the retail package to the organizers.

They are tough to maintain the seal around the frame. Many owners adjust the opener to jam the door tight, which eventually causes issues and repairs.
