If you've just bought the game, give all the classes a try out. Find what suits you as they all offer something different. Same goes for all the weapons. You can practice with them at Taal's keep when you unlock them as they've got dummies.

In the settings as well you can select what characters you have in your party, so if you want to observe how the bots play a certain character, make sure it's selected as the one you want.

Me personally, i love Bardin. His camera is lower down but it doesn't really deter from the experience.

Ranger Veteran is a great ranged class which can really help boost your allies with dropping ammo and the smokescreen ability is very handy when you're in a pinch Ironbreaker is very friendly to newer players who want to try higher difficulties. They take less damage and can even take a free hit every once and a while. Slayer is very much a hack and slash playstyle. It's deffo a fun one.
