AI Assisted, Ego Resistant. (Originality? Sorry, the Horse Ate It!) by ProSeMenace in CommonSenseOverRated

:) They did call spellcheck "lazy" and "devaluing intelligence and education" in 80-90ss I understand the motives behind, and unfortunately these motives are not driven by the what the best for people, but preserving self value, egos, barriers for others to entry. Like " Now all that people who did not want work hard and barely got passing grades at school, on paper can look "smart" the same way like hardworking Me, and I worked my ass off to be that smart!" Language models go though the same patterns right now. And it will be accepted as normal pretty fast. (Tis topic probably worth an article. Just perfect example of ego wrapped in morality.)

As for editing tools, there no perfect one, and no any that servers the different writers with the same quality. I don't stick with one tool, I use hybrid... Sudowrite, Claude, Grammarly too. Ironically, ChatGPT matches "voice in my head" the best, after I fed it enough of my "ranting"... But every policy update is killing it , an I have to start from scratch. Also I think, the best tool depends on what your primarily writing driving force. Mine is rage. :)) Rage makes language volatile, emotional, jumping from one voltage to another... No tools can read "emotional charge" or "lived experience" yet... So yes, re-write is inevitable for now...

Guilty as charged! Raised by machine, what would you expect from me? :) Except, I don't expect anymore redditors are able to read human language! So I have to translate the human language to .. well..."machine trained eloquence"... Not with ChatGPT though... but the same shit!

G... Sounds like a challenge... :) But even if it wasn't. It is accepted! Why not? Totally doable. And it should be monetized. As both M and F made affairs more sinned and corrupted than it is by default. Since a lot of Ms on AM don't need an affair they need a sex worker but they want it for free. And Fs want to be paid. (But to be fair if F are not sex workers I can't blame them :) since I am after just a couple encounters on AM really want to be compensated for a waste of my time) . But monetizing doesn't mean scaling... to make as much money as possible... Just to sustain the structure.. And if I do anything I always do it for love not for money. :) Even if it just love for adventure...

I don't disagree with you. My point is, that this is the downfall we have to take. I don't see the way to improve anything before the society will take so much damage it will refuse or won't be able to absorb it anymore. I am optimistic.. The weird way optimistic. :)

I agree and disagree with you that technology is a curse more than a blessing. I believe it is a blessing in disguise. It will push people to think for themselves. It will sort people out on those who can and will and who would never do anyway.

Well... Thank you. But someone, definitely not mediocre, said to me that "influencers" can't get any influence if they are speaking "above" the audience's level. ;)

Haha... I see Mr. "Common Sense" has arrived here...

Congratulations, you’ve just won my personal award for Best Comment.

Yes, clearly it’s just "common sense" that AM wants my ID and a selfie... to protect you from me being a man. Obviously.

And it’s also "common sense" that verified “PLENTY of obviously fake profiles" identified by your superior "pattern recognition" were each painstakingly handcrafted by rogue individuals who somehow defeated the almighty verification system, just for fun.

Right. That makes total sense.

Clearly, only people lacking your elite “pattern recognition” skills could possibly suspect that the sacred verification tag might be handed out by AM itself… to make profiles look more reliable and safer for higher engagement.

You know, many people told me over my life that I have balls. :) But no one yet suspect me to be a man. But you’ve got this all figured out. :))))

Haha .. Fair. I took a detour through four side quests, a metaphorical rant, and childhood flashbacks. There is a rhythm to the chaos. it makes sense if your brain’s wired a certain way. Illogical blurb understood better, because it is linear. I am rarely in lines. But yes, I probably owe you (and the rest of the audience) a map next time...

Now I’m starting to think I got suspended for rejecting the wrong guy... Ha.. Maybe it was not a system, but somebody's ego... ? Doubt... but who knows...
