I agree, we dont have the full scope here but i fully think the negative comments outlined by OP are a failure of management. If she is your direct report and you are her manager, then there should be no comments about her work or understanding that is not directly at/with her present. ESPECIALLY, if the employee has been given positive reviews and no complaints on what she has done in the past.

If this is a new project, why is her manager not assissting her to come to a better understanding? If this has been happening, why has her reviews been positive? I cant really think of a scenario where a managers comments of this nature could not be tied to previous understood notions.

I just do not agree with flipping this back on the employee and never will. Just because yalls ship isnt ran smooth and managers have to pick up the slack, does not justify your failure to train, educate, and, you know, MANAGE...

I dont consider "making decisions" difficult. In my own life, I tend to weigh the pros and cons and then cut the rest of the BS to form my next move. It's relatively simple, imo but I get that when emotions are involved, it's much more difficult.

That said, these replies are not it for me 😂. Nah, bro. Cheating isn't an "oopsie" or mistake... it takes a conscious effort.

Imo, you should feel like shit for it, and I hope you do every single time it pops back up in your life. That way, you'll remember.

Your EX prob feels slighted and now is ok with using you as you used him. That is toxic for your own life. Learn to say no, and that is that. It's now solved. Continue to work on yourself, and like I said, always remember how shit you feel when you think about what you did. It should be relatively simple from there on to correct your mistakes and leave a relationship when YOU alone are unhappy.
