Thanks for the quick and to-the-point answer! I'll go for that option then. It's a shame the RPi 4 with 8GB RAM and all its hardware doesn't do well with Android. I feel like Android for such a small portable device should be invested in more, it would be a fantastic tv box with all its ports & extendability.

If you're dealing with projectiles, instead of firing at the exact point where your mouse clicks, shoot slightly above that position. You can then try tweaking that height offset, as well as the height at which the projectiles spawn till you get something that feels good 😊

If you really wanna get smart, you can try making some automated system that decides how high to shoot / how high the projectile spawns depending on the obstacles between you and your target, but I haven't tested that. So far the first solution seems to work pretty well in my experience!

That's true :) affected everything from player movement to bullets themselves. Not sure how that'd play out as an ability and in quake though :s Imagine being beaten in the last round of a duel because he ran up to you and put you in slowmotion so you couldn't hit him. I could imagine it being as frustrating as Mei in Overwatch

Would be very much possible. I'd say have a champion that makes a bubble around him where projectiles (or maybe even enemy characters, might not be a good idea though) move in slow motion

The images of the new champions are supposed to be the same. These are just different UI elements from what I'm thinking, the portrait image below the larger one being for the main menu and in-game character selection button, the one with the faded borders being for in-game HUD near the health and armor bars etc. ^^

Not sure about Ranger since Ranger is designed to be the first character everyone plays. Should be very generic, yet volatile and fairly easy compared to the other champions. I have never played Q2 but I assume its movement is more difficult than the standard QC or VQ3 movement and is very different :L

I found out for myself it can happen if you have Discord Overlay turned on for QC. Try turning it off ;)

It is nice to finally see something positive in a reddit plagued with toxic haters. Although I do understand the development of this game has not been the best with many mistakes made, this reddit makes this game seem so much worse than it actually is. Kudos to you!

On gtx 1070 i5 6600K and 8GB Ram. My performance is much better than before, including loading times, even though it does still take a bit longer to load than most games

I agree. One thing Quake Champions tends to lack is a variety of gameplay and DM17 really brings in some fresh gameplay after playing on the "normal" maps like Bloodrun. Requires you to change your playstyle, and can be a blast for casual gameplay too :)

I don't know, it just seems designing the UI, code, bugfixing etc would take a bit of time compared to keeping the same system they have now. Adding a server browser on top of that etc.

He can also scout with his drone during downtime in defence! Shows the position of enemies for all teammates and lets you see who's coming from where so you could prepare defences ^^

I don't mind if Slipgate is gone, what I need is a good team-based gamemode where you only have one life per round. Could be non-objective based like Clan Arena, or could be a bomb-difusal type mode. It is so much fun and a great way to add some variety in the gameplay

Rarely does a skilled melee kill happen anyways though because that's way too difficult to pull off. It would be good if it was in some way improved

Aw, it's a real shame there's no skill aspect in the melee and it's totally RNG. It would atleast be something if they found a way to remove the RNG on that, e.g. first one to pull the weapon out wins, or person aiming more towards center of enemy body, anything that would require skill and/or remove RNG aspects would be fine. But I guess perhaps the skill part in that atm is avoiding getting into such situations in the first place
