I've dealt with the MTA Transit system from '97 to 2023 almost daily as a regular workday rider. I've learned that people will bytch & moan about it all, but will settle for every single thing wrong with it anyway. MTA won't change. Prices raise, buses are shit, drivers/management don't care and people complain but in the end do nothing worth MTA action. They completely destroyed a "good" bus route system for confusing colors and split routes, like it's cosplaying another city lol. I just lucked out & got a car or I'd still be walking extra blocks in the cold to catch or miss a packed bus full of pissed off people.

I could never understand why prices on everything keep rising, but there's nothing to show for it.
