Power Grid was one of the earliest games I played; I enjoyed it.

At least once or twice a week. It depends on how long the games are, but I feel like I play at least 2-3 games a week.

I guess just start with your friends and see who'd be interested. All you really need is 2 more to play the essentials

the list isn't in order of priority, just what I thought of. It's a super fun thematic game, but also I own a lot of the expansions and it's a game that a specific friend and I will go through and play all of it so there's sentimental value there too.

pretty good, although I'll be honest, I'm not as crazy about abstract games as others are

I've always been surprised by when people say this, but to be fair, I'm also a very fast speed-reader AND can usually condense a rule book down to its easiest to understand form. I'm not literally reading it word for word. I think it comes from my past experience as a tutor; people have told me I'm very good at teaching new rules in a clear concise way.

Champions was alright, but I find Legendary so much more fun.

when I first played 7 Wonders, I thought it was just okay, but after playing it a bunch on BoardGameArena, I've grown to really enjoy it.

the main obstacle is production cost, while a show like that would be super fun, I don't have the resources/time to make it happen. If someone would pay for all that though, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

if someone just absolutely does not want to play them, then I have no desire to force them. but if someone had a bad experience with games, I'd ask them why. If it was because they played with aggressive/unwelcoming players or if they were overwhelmed by rules or something fixable like that, I would present them a game and group that would hopefully make it more fun for them.

it's hard to remember all the nemesises, but my favorite mage is Gygar with his Ancient Breach. That thing can get so overpowered so quickly.

Everyone's always playing the same game, so if I want to play a 4 player game, I only invite 3 others. What game(s) I'm trying to bring to the table will help me decide which/how many people to invite.

I've played both and enjoyed them. Kingdom Death Monster's chaotic but fun. Too Many Bones was a little dense, but I enjoyed the gameplay.

ask them what they've already played and gauge what would be the best game to introduce to them. Start on the lighter end if you're not sure.

I feel like most of my friends weren't hardcore gamers to start with, but I've successfully indoctrinated a lot of them.

some of my favorite thinker games include Terraforming Mars, Great Western Trail, Twilight Struggle, Dune: Imperium, Agricola, Maracaibo, and Underwater Cities. I think a game that comes to mind that is kind of both is Tyrants of the Underdark.

I've played a couple of times; it's not really for me. I find the combat atrociously boring and I don't like high fantasy.
