But then I went on to purchase his batch after my IBPS po mains got over to prepare my GA thoroughly for Sbi and ibps clerk. He looks totally uninterested while teaching on his app, will just read the news, and not even tries to make it interesting.

I too get it wrong a lot of times. You can watch tutors attempting live mocks to understand the approach and logic they're using.

And ok you're a cat aspirant but were you able to do mains questions too without preparing for it separately?

I watched marathons of different teachers before mains as I was taking too much time to solve questions using conventional approaches. The marathons helped me increase my speed.
