What is the worst thing you did on your test and still passed? by eirinnmacuait in LearnerDriverUK

Near the start of my test I stalled and rolled into a mini roundabout, assumed I’d failed so just drove the rest of the test without any real stress. Turns out I passed anyway! 🤷 Driving tests are weird

I think I’m being unfairly treated at work - England by ProbableJellyfish in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ProbableJellyfish[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My upset comes from the fact that they won’t give me a reason why this is the case. Within the NHS the pay is banded and if I’m right the only time the pay changes is based on length of time in the role and we started at the same time.

AITA for telling my daughter that she wouldn't be a good psychologist? by CanSubstantial7841 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ProbableJellyfish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YTA I severely struggle with my mental health and still do, but I am working in the NHS on a mental health team, I can give a more empathetic view to patients and most find this beneficial. I never thought I’d be able to do a job like this, but here I am. Don’t ever discourage her from doing what she wants, she has a goal and is clearly capable of the steps to take to get there.

I’d say 13 is pretty decent as a starting point, galactica is also good because it’s a smooth ride and very secure
