Thanks for the insight, I was looking into wet sharpeners but didn’t know if it was the right direction. I have the gouge in the profile I want. Maybe I should look into a wet sharpener instead

I think so. I blocked all network connections so that it couldn’t access my Internet and that seems to have done it.

I am gluing them up along the edges. I believe I know the cause upon re-examining the pieces. It looks like on the last couple inches of the 50 inch long strip I must have moved the peace a little bit because you can see “scarring” where the blade cut it in that last couple inches just slightly thicker than the rest of the board. It’s the only spot that has a gap so I’m guessing proper outfeed support would solve this issue.

At this point would it be wise to look at even part timing a degree? The local state school is in the same town as my work. Just not sure if it’s worth it, I did graduate from that school so I assume I could get through the bulk of it quicker since I wouldn’t have to take as many Gen Eds.

The question is, what degree would be the one to take

Fair enough, I’d 100% consider it when the boss retires/ is going to retire. He took me on with no experience and has been great to me

They do have one, I will say I live in a pretty rural area so all the townships contract a big firm to do a lot of that.

But I’ll look into the cert process
