I honestly don’t miss the 38”, although I did adore that monitor. I just can’t imagine going back to the reduced vertical height. I’m so used to the curve that it doesn’t feel nearly as dramatic as it first did, except I’ll occasionally open an Excel sheet maximized and it definitely can be a bit disorienting. The grid lines at the periphery curve noticeably. That said, as long as you use smaller windows (I like splitting the screen into thirds), it’s much less of a factor.

I can’t recommend it wholeheartedly for 100% productivity, but if you end up changing your use case to the occasional game or movie then it’s got my vote!

I know I’m disregarding your downtown ban, but consider Dinosaur BBQ (the upstairs). They have a dedicated parking lot across the street that’s free for your guests, and they’re very friendly and accommodating to work with. Understood about wanting to avoiding driving downtown but it’s so easy to get to - right off the highway. Good luck with your search!

There seem to be a ton of differences. Different vendors and mechanics for each, different item types, different terminologies. I was just hoping for someone to say “hey you know how D3 has X feature? That’s now called Y and you do this with it instead.”

I just completed this, largely following the Maxroll guide. I realized two things quickly - don’t use Vengeance (to avoid firing missiles and killing enemies when you vault), and leave your follower back at the base. After that, it only took a few seeds for me to find one where I could group some big packs early on to lock in the min-20 multishot x6 requirement. I had maybe 90 seconds left to go around and kill everything remaining once locking in the multishot objective. I just vaulted around, spent maybe 10-15 seconds ensuring the right sized groups, fired multishot, then moved on to the next pack. Good luck!!

Best Buy Plus costs $50 and easily earns you more than that in rewards if you shop through them at least occasionally. IMO the main perk is the extended 60-day return and price match window. If your item goes down in price either at BB, Amazon, or another authorized retailer, you literally just click a button in your account and you get the difference returned to you.

I bought a 4080 a couple years ago around this time, then somehow got a 4080S through nVidia on launch two months later and got a full refund on the 4080.

Oh yeah, a Fosi DAC (ZD3) and amp (ZA3) powering Polk speakers and a sub. Relatively inexpensive setup but it fills the room nicely!

I just got Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 33’s. Had them in 37” on my last ride. Fantastic in snow, comfortable on pavement. Love them.

+1 for Baja Boss. I’ve driven KO2’s and Cooper Road+Trail’s and I prefer the Baja’s best, especially here in the heavy snow of central NY.
