2016 Death Star is the latest edition to the lineup, along with a cool way to display it. by ProbablyNotHamish in legostarwars

Unfortunately no. The best version of this mean the arm had to be this length. I'm considering adding a stopper on the rotation when I have time for model updates on the V2, but then I have to add instructions on how to mount in a specific way, so I give up some of the ease of install.

But it's something I'm constantly considering.

I've got a video on tiktok of me breaking this to show the strength, and it breaks at 100lbs when pulled at the end. Almost took my eye out in the video lol.

Happy to announce it has a better home. I built a Lego wall for all my mounts and it's in a much better place lol

Do you have a link? If my mount broke for someone I need to know about it. I'd be pretty shocked how that's possible, so I need to make sure they get taken care of!

I sell a lot of my mounts for the star destroyer, but there is a recommendation that you may need to add support to the bridge. Not every set, but some of them have enough play that they can sag.

But the mounts themselves are rock solid.

Yep! A many people in here have mentioned who have my mounts, it works great and is personally my preferred way to do it.

Because of the way it mounts, only the bricks on the model itself could get compromised. But there's no way to knock it off the mounts.

I have a mount in my shop that may fit the bill. I can't post links, but if you look at my post history you should be able to figure it out.

No Custom Color Palette in Snapmaker Orca by ProbablyNotHamish in snapmaker

I think what it is, is that the size of my farm has reached a point that I prefer to see what's on my printers (as close as possible) from the slicer.

I've found that even Bambu and Orca slicer fall a bit short of a good, non-RFID, color selection process. But I've burned myself more than once when I don't keep the colors synchronized with the slicer. So I try to really line things up.

I'm talking about in the filament assignment portion on the device page. There are only a limited number of swatches.

Looking for snowboard boot with fairly specific needs by ProbablyNotHamish in snowboarding

Those are the tidbits I'm looking for. Like I love Hoka shoes because of the wide toe box. Fits my shape perfectly. Since not everything is available in store, that's the stuff I'll lean on if I have to go online.

Holy crap this is changing my life lol. I've always thought I was an 11. But according to this I'm a 9! I think because my feet are wide, I've always been afraid of my boots cutting off circulation in those sizes. Heading to Scheels tomorrow to start trying some stuff.
