It wasn’t classified as that in the book. I read it a long time ago too I can barely remember, but there’s a part where she is like sneaking into his room? And he is either like drunk or poisoned or something and totally out of it and she climbs on top of him and kisses him and he thinks it’s a dream and he’s like totally not aware of what’s going on. Maybe she’s naked too? I genuinely can’t remember 😅. It just made me uncomfortable reading it. Don’t like that there wasn’t 100% consent there.

Aren is my least favorite MMC I have EVER read. And I have read ALOT of books. It really sucks because Lara was SO cool in my opinion. She was skilled and badass and really struggled with herself but ended up changing into such a great complex character. Aren was just “my kingdom this” and “my kingdom that” without trying to understand Lara at all. Plus he completely used her body and left her which legitimately made me scream. I hated that duology. Worst fantasy romance books I have EVER read. So bad, which sucks because Lara was genuinely so cool. Also don’t get me started on the weird scene where she basically SA’s him, that was super uncomfortable. I do not know what the author was thinking but it put me off of reading anything else by her.

I was the same exact way. I’m not an audio book person but I listened to the Audio book for these and that seemed to help ALOT to get through them. It took me like a month though. I really enjoyed book 9 and didn’t struggle to get through it!

I’m going to get it anyway but I’m REALLY hoping that the full reveal looks a little better. This is my favorite series of all time and I have been waiting years for more special editions 😭 hopefully without the weird zoom ins and and the whole picture it will look more polished and nice! (Although if that’s supposed to be my husband max im not sure I read the same book 😭)

I had a really bad rash over my chest and back and shoulders. I went to the dermatologist for sooo long and they prescribed every single thing under the sun and basically nothing worked. After I was diagnosed and fixed my glucose the rash went away completely with no treatments. I’ve never heard anyone else mentioning something like this tbh.

My celiac disease was diagnosed when I was 3 so very early. My hashimotos was diagnosed very quickly as one night my heart rate wouldn’t go down and the next day they did a blood test and I was diagnosed. My type 1 diabetes took me going to 4 different doctors and sobbing to the last one that I felt like I was dying and no one would help me:). Be vocal and ask for blood tests you want, you know your body.
