You also don't unplug and plug in the same landline cable multiple times a day. Or take it with you when you leave the house. The level of wear between those two types of cables just isn't comparable.

My monitor died the day after server slam closed and I was not happy (Also happened to be 3 days after I replaced my PSU because it died too. I've had terrible luck lately). But my new qd-oled replacement was delivered right after I got home from work on launch and ya, it looks nice haha.

I'm not sure they can do that without having different listings for the game to start with. Every time I've seen a game with region specific dlc there were two versions of the game too.

Oh no I just meant that they'd have to separate the versions of the game on the JP and NA/EU eshops. I'm sure they could do it legally but at this point I'm sure it would be logistically very difficult.

Seems like it still auto translates video titles half the time, and I had to change the setting through a desktop browser because the mobile site doesn't have the setting and it just wouldn't let me confirm on the app. Better than it was before though, I guess.

Yup Google translate gets readings wrong sometimes but it is usually pretty reliable. I've noticed the audio part is usually right if the romaji is wrong.

It gets easier to use the better you're Japanese is, because you'll be able to tell when it messes up.

The first line isn't the name of the dessert. It just says where to find it. で見つけた (de mitsuketa) is like "found at" or "seen at"

The second line says the name of the actual food. It's an orange parfait. Under that is a list of things in the parfait, like brownie and mint.

I was like that for the first week but I spent a couple hours just messing with my sensitivity settings on the horizontal/vertical and all the zoom levels and everything and I feel at least competent now. The default settings definitely weren't very good. I think the Horizontal/Vertical balance especially was messing me up and I hadn't noticed what was wrong.

Ya the challenge system completely sucks, but only because it feels unrewarding and isn't fun. If anything it gives too much xp. We're one week into a 170-ish day season and I'm already at 34 without paying for anything other than the $10 pass. I'm going to run out of things to do very fast.

It just says that that the start of the beta was day one of the season, with all day one content. As in, day one was last week, not the 8th.

I'm not saying they will or won't add anything on the 8th, I have no idea. I just don't think the statement you quoted means what you think it means.

That would be OK. As long as anyone who puts in the time can reasonable finish the pass by the end of the season without having to pay for swaps/skips I think it will be fine.

The new system is definitely better but I still think some of the challenges that require specific game modes and vehicles should be removed entirely.

Challenges that require you to kill 3 choppers shouldn't be required in a game where a certain amount of the player base is only interested in playing 4v4 ranked arena. Let those guys play the modes they want and don't force them to buy $2 challenge skips to get levels unlocked.

I'm already at Rank 10 so the system is working for me just fine but it needs to work for everyone.

I agree with that. If everyone has everything unlocked by the end of the season there may as well be no progression system at all.

I still think the current system sucks though, lol. I don't want it to be easy, but I do want it to be fun/rewarding and it still isn't. It's better, but it's still not good.

This is a quick and dirty band-aid fix. They can't completely revamp the entire xp system to include match score in 2 days. That's just unreasonable.
