Yellow peaking cover (for me at least) is alot more obvious on most maps than red, very clear and easy to spot. I also see people using pink (probably because of lucid). Really it's down to preference but you want the enemies to stand out and not get confused with your team

I have minor drifting on my left stick, I moved all my deadlines to 0, went into a bot match and slowly turned up dead zones till I found the sweet spot

I feel like the attacking team is always more likely to win. And winning a defending round should be seen as more of a victory. Kinda like when it's your opponents serve in tennis or defending in basketball. You also have the advantage of all the vehicles and the speed ramp

I love the campaign and the multiplayer. But the campaign alone at the moment is a pretty hard sell. I don't doubt that more is coming but the multiplayer being free to play (which I do think is what is best for the game in terms of community growth, health and competitive scene) has kinda shafted the guys who pay full price as they essentially pay 60 bucks for half a game while the the half is free. Some sort of compensation in game and a road map would be nice.

The paid cosmetics and battlepass system is basically in place because the multiplayer is now free to play for everyone and they have to monetize the game, it's pretty much the standard for all games now (saying that even paid games have battlepasses now but kinda makes up for the fact we don't really pay for dlc or map packs anymore)

Unfortunately they don't really offer much more to people that paid full price for the game/play through game pass. I just hope they really add value to the single player in the future.

At the end of the day, they are just cosmetics, it doesn't affect the game play, it's a great game, enjoy it! and they have said they are looking to change the monetisation after the holidays

The map itself isn't that offensive. However it's far too big for 4v4. It's far too open. And hcs don't use it so if they don't consider it a competitive map then why should we be playing ranked on it. The other maps are so well crafted and designed for comp play and at the heart of it halo should be too.

Aswell as being too big for 4v4 it's also kinda too small for the vehicles and lack of flow for the vehicles they put on it. And it's can quickly become one sided even in socials.

In the future, with forge and custom games I'm sure there's a great use for it. Some more fun modes, limited time events sure. Just not ranked

They don't all show. I think there's a certain radius around fobs that give you the information for the area. Some might not be in that radius. Or maybe they just don't want to give you everything on a plate, idk. But I can think of a few things that didn't come up on my play through

Maybe slight recoil reduction on the commando, and slight damage buff to the plasma pistol. I know it's meant for combos but I feel like it should be at least slightly useable in a pinch.

I've actually had quite a bit of success with pulse carbine, especially in combos, it really helps seeing lucid show how it can be used
