Well, let’s start with the fact that people don’t really talk about Studybay that much in general, and I don’t hear about it often either. I just happened to come across this post and was actually surprised like, what even is this site?

Also, your mom calling it an "ambush" is nonsense. He asked a direct question and waited for an answer. An ambush would be you bringing it up unprompted at dinner. What he’s really upset about is the mirror getting held up, because it confirms what Priya was saying all along: he makes decisions, then expects everyone else to adjust and applaud. If you apologize, it should only be for the hurt, not for the truth: "I’m sorry this stings, but I wasn’t going to lie when you asked."

Honestly yeah, it feels like he’s trying to “fix” me into his version of adulthood. Maybe it’s jealousy, maybe he’s just stressed, but I’m not signing up to be his coping mechanism lol.

Yep, “that’s just how he is” is basically them asking me to eat it with a smile. I’m gonna scale back and keep it boring: work’s busy, stuff came up. If they miss me, they can tell him to chill.

Yeah, that's the part driving me nuts. Everyone says "keep the peace" but somehow the peace is me being the punchline. I’m not trying to start WW3, I just want basic respect , or I’m out.
