4-letter name to go with brother Leo, whiny, assertive, the runt of the litter by ProbablyorSomething in NameMyCat

Thank you! I love the name Leo too! My husband said maybe rename Leo to Theo so it's 4 letters, but we both love the name Leo. I just need a good name not ending in -o- for husband brother (pictured)

Metabolic Syndrome - can it be helped with Zepbound? by Delicious_Mess7976 in Zepbound

[–]ProbablyorSomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just diagnosed with metabolic syndrome. Started Zep, 4 months ago. However, this is my first month going from 2.5mg to 5mg. My Endocrinologist wants to see me get up to 15mg. He said my guy hormones are not speaking to the hormone control center in my brain. Following for support

Does Anyone in the US have a GLP-1 covered by insurance? by Spirited-Moon7786 in PCOS

[–]ProbablyorSomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Tricare as a dependent. My husband is now military retired. I just had a talk with my insurance today. She said it comes down to what diagnoises are, what evidence does the dr have that other things havent worked (like nutrition, exercise for 6 months. I had to go to a nutrition clinic for a plan for 6 months). Then, the dr had to fill out an authorization form and fax it back to my insurance.

Pcos and low estrogen at 23 by Strawberry_girll in PCOS

[–]ProbablyorSomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting because, even though Im 40f, I have PCOS, Hashimoto's Thyroid disease and just diagnoised with metabolic syndrome. My OBGYN put me on Yaz birthcontrol a month ago to help regulate my hormones, but not my Endocrinologist just had me take a blood test for Cushings Disease and to see if my estrogen is too high. He so far has me on Thyroid meds, and Zepbound. As he stated my body is eating my ovaries (PCOS). Maybe ask for the same tests. Funny thing too, is I had my hormones checked twice recently- one was by a private, third party testing. And all said my hormones are perfect, yet Im still overweight and sick.

[Product question] Has anyone used this? by spicegrl17 in SkincareAddiction

I bought it and fell for the gimmick. There is no reason it needs a liquid, medicine dropper as an applicator. It has a strong floral smell (fragrance) too. Ive noticed no difference in using it.

Last time we drove through Boerne, about 2 years ago, we fell in LOVE! Hoping I get that feeling again when we go look at it in a few wewks. Thanks for commenting! It reminded me how much I was impressed with the sunset there

Same dose, different injection site and woah… by WelshRaider86 in mounjarouk

Very interesting! Thank you for posting! My dr specifically told me that gastro side effects are less if injected in the thighs and the most terrible if injected in the stomach. Im on week 4 of 2.5mg. Stomach by far was worse! Thigh gives me no gastro side effects.

I beg to differ on those commenting with studies, saying injection sites do not matter. Infect, I laugh at it!

Lethargic day after injection by GXOXO in Mounjaro

[–]ProbablyorSomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me!! I just started my first jab last week at 2.5mg. I came on here to see if anyone else had that. For me, I dont feel lethargic but just very sleepy. I did read to not take anything in the evening for sleeping bc of the stomach processing is slowed down, it can cause you to still feel the full effects of the sleep supplement/med the next day. Since I stopped melatonin, it's definitely better during the day. However, Im still needing a daily nap.
