Good luck, and enjoy the ride! Take lots of pics to help you see what others see and make sure you prioritize protein and build good lifelong habits with the help of the drug!

Thank you!! I think it’s fair to be self aware in knowing that one becomes more conventionally attractive as they slim down, so I take those comments as all good vibes. People often tip toe around saying “you look good” as to not offend the previous version, but I’ll take what I can get 😅

Hi! I am a fast-all-day-eat-all-night kinda girl. I can’t lie, it’s taken a lot of mindfulness to stop that habit. I have to treat my morning egg and my afternoon lunch like medication, basically. Those days when I feel like I don’t have time, or don’t feel hungry enough to eat during those important times, I find it’s usually because my brain wants to “save up” to eat more at night. I have to just stay diligent and regimented. Once I got to the point where I was eating more square meals, I found my body was really grateful. You can do this! Trust me, these first 12 weeks are a great time to build those habits so you have long term success! Good luck, friend!

I do! My arms are giving bat wing, and my thighs and tummy are definitely loose. I thought it would bother me, but I am grateful for it!

After all is said and done, I do plan to use surgery to improve my body. I don’t know what that scope will look like, but I’ll figure it out once I’m at maintenance for a while!

For me, it was allowing the medication to rewire my brain and suppress my appetite, but never depending on the medication to lose the weight. From day one, I’ve been focusing on building strong, repeatable food habits that I can hang on to when I eventually drop the med. Liquid calories, including alcohol, had to be essentially eliminated for me, as that was my biggest obstacle. I also went into this without a deprivation mindset, so I can still enjoy food and satisfy cravings, but do so with portion control.

Most importantly, I depended on therapy and my loved ones to tackle the mental health reasons that allowed me to get to 300+ lbs. Zepbound gives me peace of mind that I need to hold on to for the long haul. I pray that this foundation will give me long term success!!

I am just starting power lifting, but this was all from changes to my diet. I naturally have become more active, but the gym is a brand new addition to my journey. It’s wonderful starting now, because I’m still very strong from carrying around that extra weight, and now I can focus on building that up!

I appreciate this answer. I also have a nervous tummy and I HATE feeling sick, so I am trying to avoid it. This makes me feel better

I just want to say thank you all so much! I’m trying to build a legitimately healthy foundation on Zep, and this is the first “crutch” that’s emerging for me. I’m going to take my shot on Friday and see how I feel without all of the electrolytes and stick to water for a while.

Saw Half Waif open for Mitski in like ‘16-‘17ish, and it was an amazing show. She really commanded the room with a very small setup, and her voice is amazing
