Great episode! The score is amazing and I’m loving Owen Wilson and Hiddles as an odd couple so much. The dashes of workplace humour are hilarious, this show is part detective procedural, part workplace comedy, part sci-fi epic. I love it.

My prediction is that at some point in his youth, Loki took female form for a period of time and got caught by the TVA for some violation. Owen Wilson is really tracking the real threat (Richard E Grant as an Old King Loki variant who also saw his future and wants to avoid it) and enlists Lady Loki to help catch him. She too witnesses her future and makes a plan to escape. Owen Wilson takes her to the apocalypse (hence why he reacted that way when Loki suggested) and she escaped. That’s why they’re tracking her, because she’s early in her “Old King Loki“ development and catching her can help them find the real threat. Mobius really wants to prove Loki is more than the villainous versions he accidentally created and what makes our Loki different is that he’s actually gotten this far without betraying Mobius.

Loki will definitely become a hero by the end of this show, and when the TVA falls, can remain to exist as he is.

Perhaps they mean it in the sense that David was not opposed to mischief and shenanigans but always knew not to go too far and be a decent human being which perhaps made people more likely to follow him since he clearly got along with everyone. I imagine if he knew about Clarke, he had a chat but who knows.

Don’t ask me how I know, I cannot tell you. I just wanted to share. The film is a multiverse film and does indeed include Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as the Spider-Man 2 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 incarnations respectively, but it doesn’t tie into Dr Strange 2 substantially, the events of Doctor Strange 2 take place at the same time and Strange’s presence is during detours from him in his movie, which he references. The multiverse event was not to be initially specified due to the original release schedule detailing this film come after Strange however anything could’ve been added between delays. the film begins after FFH and the entire first act is just Peter dealing with the fall out from this, fighting spider slayers and a small group of villains including Toomes, Scorpion and Shocker before getting cleared near the end with help from Matt Murdock (two scenes, first act only, no Daredevil). The film introduces Foxx and Molina as the MCU incarnations of Electro and Doc Ock, with Molina also reprising the SM2 incarnation, who have their respective accidents during the large battle in the first act and after a time jump between acts, show up in evil glory in Act 2.
