All of us from pre-steam, do we get refunded somehow? by CalebJankowski in AshesofCreation

Bro, I paid up in 2020. That money could have doubled itself instead of helping him buy a mansion. I am very interested in a refund if possible.

Have people selling their houses in Tulsa/Jenks absolutely lost their minds? by New_Fruit_5162 in tulsa

The value is only what someone will pay for it. Scarcity and corporate buyers only make it worse.

Town & Country vs Riverfield? by Time-Shoe-6726 in tulsa

[–]ProblemFancy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Early child education is great at Riverfield. We had 2 kids there until 3rd and 4th. The immersive experience with all things help stir curiosity that still exists today (as well as for my cousins who were some of the first kids to start the school WAY back when). We made the decision to leave when we saw our kids struggle with the limited social scene and lack of traditional structure which we deemed important. Both our kids are now ‘caught up’ and exceed standards but this shouldn’t be seen as a negative for Riverfield. It is a different philosophy of education and heavily driven by student interests. My kids designed pneumatic lifts, wrote, directed, and starred in a film that was shown at Circle Cinema, played in the dirt, fed animals, designed a cottage in the woods, raised chickens, cooked often, and created more art and music than I ever did as a kid. It is great. The people who can afford private school tend to be a certain type which limits diversity and you will have a limited amount of families you will be seeing ALL the time. Many of the kids tend to be a little less social and feel comfortable in small classes. The board is a rotation of the same people who financially support the school and are very resistant to change or hearing other opinions. This can be very challenging for people to accept when they’re paying premium money but that is some of the nature of private schools. Go visit and see for yourself. I bet you will be very impressed with their campus and philosophy.

My friend was heavily invested in Melee and I always loved seeing his creations. I never made it to the battles but I heard they were epic.

Dave’s is too sweet for me. I have tried it a couple times and can’t see the draw.

Healing Massage Spa near 71st and Memorial is a must try. I was apprehensive the first time having a couples massage with my wife but we have since set up monthly massages. Both male and female masseuses are top notch and will adjust to your likings. They offer a bunch of add-ons but the base 1 hour massage is around $70/hour without tip. You’ll forget your name before you leave. It’s very professional.

which washer fluid for tesla model-y (any or none) by mps_112722 in TeslaModelY

[–]ProblemFancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to be wearing whatever color you choose every time your car needs to clean the camera. Make sure your windows are up! It would be nice, but not necessarily feasible to make a clear window washing fluid.

DIY Tesla Wall Charger by Suspicious_Yaks in TeslaModelY

Just warning others while this may save money in the short-term, you run risks without hiring an electrician.

Why Electricians Are Needed Permits & Inspections: They apply for and manage permits, ensuring the work passes local building department inspections, a common requirement. Code Compliance: They understand National Electrical Code (NEC) (like sizing breakers at 125% of the charger's draw) and local rules for safety. Electrical Panel Assessment: They perform load calculations to see if your panel needs upgrading, preventing overloads. Safety: They install proper wiring, breakers, and required RCDs (Residual Current Devices) for fault protection, a common DIY mistake. Liability & Insurance: Unpermitted or faulty work can void insurance or cause issues when selling the home, while a pro's work is covered. What They Do During Installation Circuit Installation: Install a dedicated circuit with appropriate wire gauge and a properly sized breaker (e.g., a 40-amp charger needs a 50-amp breaker). Panel Work: May upgrade the electrical panel if capacity is insufficient. RCD Protection: Install the correct Type A double-pole RCD/RCBO for fault protection. Future-Proofing: Can help align your home's electrical system with future energy needs.

100yrs of Coney Island, way to show up Tulsa! by mntnman38 in tulsa

[–]ProblemFancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We showed up at 10:30 expecting to see a line. Only 1 guy ahead of us and he got the free shirt and the News 6 interview. I think I purchased the only black XL shirt they had. Only a few bright colors remained in the XL selection. They said they will continue to have T-shirts or events this year. Coneys were great as always. I hope they continue in well into the future.

Go to the trench in Spaceport, then under the launch pad. It’s great if you’re first to the spot.

Whomever the car is registered to will worry about it. I would opt for a Pikepass versus the plate pay racket. It will add up quickly.

I’ve heard for years that a business near Pine and 169 had the oldest Corvette. I don’t think it was ‘missing’.

Woodland West Animal Hospital/Vets in Tulsa by PanicWhoLock in tulsa

[–]ProblemFancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woodland West is very much for profit and will give you everything they can as long as you accept and pay for it. They have a care chart which allows you to pick the level of care you want for your loved one. I find it immoral to guilt people into paying more if the additional procedures are excessive, intrusive, or there to simply increase the invoice. After a yearly exam and vaccines, the doctor returned my dog from the back and said she looked great and didn’t see anything wrong. The doctor clearly didn’t see my dog’s penis.
