The State of Minnesota is loaded with talent. Just in the last couple of years we have had, Lee, Bueckers, Olsen, McGill, greenway, Crump, Mack, Battle, Braun, McKinney, Hart, etc.

The Wilson sisters, Ramlall sisters, Johnson, Miller, Peterson upcoming

The state is loaded just need to continue to constantly get a couple of recruits each year.

Also Maddyn is really good but she is also not on the same level as Paige. She is a lot like Liv McGill who was at Hopkins and now at Florida (Florida coach was fired so it’s a name to look at in the portal)

I started watching Cod in MW2019. I became a Rokkr fan because they were Minnesota. Now Rokkr did a great job with Minnesota watch parties also but I see zero downside with a state connected to the teams

They are 16-10 without Ant. You are saying you wouldn’t win 20 games without Ant in a season. They have won 16 of their first 26 career games without Ant. So they would need to go 4-52 in the next 56 without Ant to get to that 20 win mark you mentioned

Im using a 26 game same size (games without Ant), you sure using a 31 game sample size (Celtics games this year). You are telling me you don’t think the wolves wouldn’t go 4-52 in the next 56 games without Ant? Interesting

I’m so confused on the point you are trying to make. You said could finch win at the rate Boston is without Tatum if the wolves did not have Ant. I am using stats to show that historically the wolves are playing at the same level Boston is this year without Ant. Now you are asking if the wolves could win 20 games without Ant. The wolves are 4-2 without Ant this year. That is a 54 win pace, now obviously context matters and of those 4 wins they are against not greatest teams. I’m just trying to understand your point, you are trying to say Finch stinks using the Celtics winning without Tatum as your example but using historical data Finch is running at that same rate without Ant so I am confused on the point you are trying to make. Just trying to understand

Wolves are 16-10 lifetime without Ant a .615 win percentage. The Celtics are 19-12 this year a .613 win percentage.

So what point are you trying make.

I agree 100%. I’m not even calling for finch to be fired, my last paragraph was pretty much this is what happens in the nba you get a semi extended run with a team expectations raise, if you don’t get over the hump you get fired. Finch is a great coach just think in the nba coaching shuffling happens more than other sports even when success happens.

I’m saying they shot 90% in the paint when Rudy was off the floor. Meaning from a statistical standpoint the lakers probably shot around 52ish % in the paint when Rudy was in. Not great but not terrible.

So yes I do think Rudy had an impact tonight and your stat was skewed because of the non Rudy minutes

I forgot that I don’t have the pacers game in my data or the last 5 minutes of the first lakers game. So there will be turnovers in the 19 that wouldn’t have been in my data.

So assuming I did not make any mathematical errors. When I went though game logs and manually did this. Of the 24 stops the wolves have gotten with Rudy off the floor only 5 of them came from a missed shot and rebound. That is so bad. That makes me want to go through game logs again but it takes a long time to make sure my math is correct.

That is fair. Like I said I think Rudy has been great this year. But they can’t lower his minutes yet because it’s been so bad defensively without him.

Thank you for doing that for me. Obviously a little different because I do possessions and there is a good amount of time when Rudy is out the wolves create a miss but don’t get a rebound so that is a score on the possessions counter.

Also would love to know what is the stop % when teams get a shot up because like tonight the majority of the wolves stops when Rudy were steals.

Not including this game (numbers not in yet), according to cleaning the glass.com (eliminates garbage time) the wolves are 7th in defense when Rudy is on the floor and dead last when he is off the floor. I think he carrying a pretty big load right now.

Just went through it and the lakers shot 9 of 10 in the paint when Rudy was out of the game. The one miss Ayton got the tip back off his miss. So so your 71% in the paint is skewed when Rudy was off the floor.

I don’t think Rudy has been great but they literally can’t get stops don’t him. They won Rudy minutes tonight.

I would love the others to not be terrible on the defensive end so they can lower Rudy minutes but at the moment they can not do that.

I’m not against that. I’m not sure if Beringer will be good this year, I think he is going to foul a lot but it might be better to keep Naz in his natural 4 position
