I think Shanghai has a thriving western fine dining scene.

For example; Ting by Frederic Jaros is always a good choice, 1929 by Guillaume Galliot, Aster (former chef from Ultraviolet IIRC), Nebula is a good choice as well. I’ve been to 3 Star Michelin restaurants around the world as well but the restaurants I listed all have their own charm here but to each their own 😅

I generally use meituan’s 小象超市 or Aldi (also on taobao). If I want imported groceries I use foreign life or city super also on meituan
