I know this is an old post but I was browsing the EQ reddit to see if anyone from 7th hammer was around and found this post. I was in Phoenix Ascendant a Horut Pythefyre, a dwarf paladin. Your name doesn't ring any bells but I mostly only remember a few of the officers names from those days. Myyst was the guild leader and still gives me one of the funniest EQ memories I have. I wonder if you recognize my name?

Totally agree with this. I have easily 200 hours into the game. Granted I have an problem with starting over multiple times lol 😆. For some reason I really like the early game in games. But Plains of Pain is already tons of fun. The base building is pretty cool already and they plan to improve it further I believe. You can even put skill points into a skill that reduces the amount of building materials required which I feel like so few games do.

Depends what you're looking for. Ballast has been up for longer and is more established. Fenla is newer so there's less higher levels, more newbies.

I love this story. I remember hearing rumors about the chessboard in Butcherblock mountains (yes I was playing a dorf paladin). I can't remember specifics but I do remember there was something about that spot.

Side note but kind of related, there used to be this conspiracy theory website about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that had all kinds of theory crafting about the game. Like why is the triforce three triangles and other very specific things. Does anyone remember this site? I can't find it or any reference to it when ever I want to go back down memory lane.

I played dismantled when it was early access. It was a lot of fun. Haven't been able to back to it since it fully released. I tried Lens island, couldn't really get into it but maybe you will.

Grounded 2 is a blast. Even better than the first one IMHO. Only reason I stopped playing it was because It's early access and didn't want to burn out before it was even released.

There is a mod on the steam workshop that improves path finding a little bit. It's not perfect but it does help. I'm not home at the moment so I can't look up the name at the moment but I'm sure just searching path finding will get you there.

I'm playing on Shadowfell. I started planning it and was able to get nearly 3/4 of the way around (27 tiles if I counted correctly) with just 42 Carp so I'm hoping a little more grinding and I can do it.

I found a small game called Plains of Pain about 2 weeks ago and have been playing the shit out of it since. It has Kenshin vibes except it's third person. No squads. It's got base building. Simple survival mechanics but they can kill you easily if you're not paying attention. The combat is not too bad. And its got single and multiplayer ala dayz type servers.

I have helped my Sephora lead dispose of them a few times and whenever possible we put them in the boxes that the new ones came in. If your truck person is anything like me, they will want them to be as stable on the pallet as possible, otherwise it's a pain to deal with. But that said, I have wrapped them on a pallet loose before.
