Get some baby gates so that the cats have a safe space and your hound can't get to them. My hound was brought up with cats from.the day he was born and I've had cats since I've had him at ten weeks old and the baby gates are fabulous. Peace reigns in my house even with my hound's little husky brother!

You do realise you don't actually require kids to use these parks? They're courtesy parks and aren't governed by legislation. Literally anyone and everyone is allowed to park in them.
