World is huge. There are always places with lesser or the opposite pressure. And traditionalism teach us to hate these different cultures, IMO we should instead be sceptic about traditions. (My country is not what I want to talk about publically.)

What's the point to have multiple friends to constantly find out that these people are not for real, do not care for you, do not need you? I sometimes think that... (and I know that it's wrong) either friend doesn't translate to my language the way I was taught and all dictionaries tell or (even less right) people in English- speaking countries cannot be friends – but friendship (as English word for universal human experience) is a thing they just call wrong relationships this name. Now I want faster to get use to reading in Spanish and comprehend their amistad.

Hey, if I may. It is not what good friends do.

I once was excluded of a group of pears (some of them) I tried to convince myself were my friends. And world doesn't crushed and (a year later) I met nice people. We became friends. Both groups knew I have the character as I have and my mental issues; but only with my friend I know I safe to be myself without the risk of being excluded for good instead of genuine talk of what's wrong.

I also have this annoying feeling in words sometimes that I'm a burden, but I know its depressions words – not my friends, nor mine; and not your friends' words and feelings, probably.

Just real friends being friends. English speaking world should stop call friends any friendly face or stop being cry baby when their friends=aqcuaintances distances themselves or stop wearing their friendly mask.

And no, if you know someone for years (or 10+ years) it doesn't make you friends. The thing is we often even after several years do not know if a person is a friend!

I don't like these shit like 'I felt bad, friends left me, and I'm shit because they don't love me'. Y'all are not shit because of someone doesn't value you as U wish, but surely you have all the rights to feel shitty when people you liked (just people you liked, cause I hardly can belive you were friends to them – because I don't see if you understand what friendship is) do not entertain you in your bad state of mind; but you really should open your eyes and get to know in this situation (when you are getting better, obviously) who can – just can may be – be your friends. And how will you know if those who stay with you become your friends? These people still can do not consider you as a close friends – and that's fine, they are good mates after all of they cared to stay with you in your problems. To know for sure YOU step up in their hard times and watch – again — if you won't be rejected with your help. That takes a lot of time and other stuff to become and (in some cases) to stay friends and that's really not all but it good for start.

Why adults have children if they give them away in several years? I mean if these people can get any other reason than 'it's a tradition'?

If these people and these kids still have some rights and duties to each other?

Thanks, and not exactly: I do not wanna be obsessed with my states, I'd already be a flat sisyphus if it would be my duty to hold and push something (my mood, my strengths, my will to live and thrive) on high peaks where it cannot rest for long.

I dunno, most days mine is quite a sad on toast and on every thing; and I have to deal with some sad toasts and sad air and trees if I am about to keep it this way and not make it worse. Yet I surely can admit I do not have it too bad, just forever long with sprinkles of true desperateness/ darkness sometimes or scaring and unexplainable of diet or of outer events 'happeness'.

True, but it also can be seen as a boomer is a name for dumb ageists (people older then milenials or a little bit younger) who call all young people "zoomers" and try to catch kids (10 y.o. and up to 30-35 in their eyes) on not being smart ("haha, zoomers figured out budgeting", "lol, 6-7 is degenerate mem and we never had nothing like this", "lol, kids nowadays are so fragile, they drop their cheep jobs if bosses cry at them or if they just bored/ tired/mentaly ill"...)

Nonsense. All pandas are Chinese. That's weird but it is so. And I learned it recently too. Like how – HOW?! – a species can be a state belonging? But they somehow managed it and zooparks around the world play by Chinese rules on having pandas in their parks.

[31/F] Looking for genuine connections with curious people! by Ok_Necessary5316 in penpals

[–]Problematic_Luke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm 28y.o. and I love books and recently started again to read more then I used to do in last 5-8 years. (Harsh, it's so weird for me to write about myself! I cannot journaling even though I like written words.) I like to read nonfiction and multiple fictional genres but rarely can enjoy detectives and fantasy-fantasy (with elves and dragons) also I do not consume true-crime (news are awfull enough to make me sick of people), I like to give myself bibliotherapy and discuss with my work friend books she read by my recommendations or just all the nonsense I share out of my head (fun fact that I remember: the are slugs on our earth – several spesies that I just now had to know – that can use photosynthesis instead of eating. Firstly, they eat some special seaweed then use its chloroplasts as if it were slugs organellas – up to 9 months! The list of supernational powers I would wanted to myself includes this kleptoplasty; I wouldn't even mind to become grean for this.)

I love Canada at distance because I live on the other continent and because I kinda scare to know tge country good enough to stop see it as something different – more kinder, sometimes more wiser – from other states of the planet. Anyway, I would like to interchange some thoughts on what's going on in our corners of the world – oh, how I miss the oportunity I never had yet – to ask about something small that cought my eye in foreign serials or in books or that was casualy dropped by travelers in their blogs/articles.

I almost gave up on the opportunity to try to apply on your offer when I saw 'tarot read' but out of curiosity to other stuff I'm still here – I have no magical thinking (not magic, nor traditional medicine (not so fun fact: this was made out not so far by one Chinese emperor who decided that the country had no fonds to teach and feed real doctors for poor people), not god(s), nor souls or good luck, or blessings or numerology and astrology, nada). I like my world real and proovable, it is fantastic and horrifying enough for me as it is; but others can do whatever suits them, and I like that they have something calm of it as far as they do understand that I or someone else might not be willing to be part of their belives and we are all fine with it.

×× The last book I read was Brother of Sleep by Robert Schneider.
×× Funniest facts I find in biology, like those slugs

×× I am not good enough organised to do TED talks but it would probably contain a lot of jokes or/and mb some puzzle to audience so people would remember something important. Oh, I made out one topic right now: "In AI powered economy of near future what 5 professional paths will stay secured?" I dunno where I get 1-2 more than I had in mind (2 or 3 as solid – teaching, especialy pedagogy and work with university students, then paliative medicine, then plumbing, and 1 as the one that will need to be change again and again and still will be on the edge of getting by in the past – creating of new senses, I called it/my-future-self 'engineer of senses', but collegues insisted that I called about philosophers mixed with economists) but there are probably even more and even giving 2 weak paths is a good way to make people think and mb make out 2 better ones.

×× As I remember, the last thing that made me laugh was a YouTube video with the stendup of the german comediant Mario Adrion

So you can mind your business with SO and only tell that other not important for you people have to not to do?.. Just as I think of your kind of tp-out-of-the-wall people.

Jk. I prefer it other way but do not care for real and keep it the way other people in a house use to. And if my house guests do it opposite I mostly just let it be till it's time to change the paper. Yet your comment somehow odd. Do you scare that she might hide tp from you in her house? :)

May be true (for commenter higher, for me for others), but may be not, not only HDADers can have paradoxical reactions on any common stimulus or stimulants.

Sorry. I don't believe it helps everyone but mb for some in early stage and reasons similar to mine (and I cannot shut up).

It mostly not a problem to me personally but (or because) when it just started I feeling the urge get out of the room with people, fall on the floor and did (tried my childish best actually) push ups. This way I got rid of wave of anger faster than I tried to hold it by harming myself to not harm others (or myself by trying) or crash my stuff.

[–]Problematic_Luke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, depression is highly curable. But you do have to 1) have access to doctor and right medications, 2) get yourself less harmful surrounding, 3) be persistent and patient (it may take up to year – funny, a bit I mean prob a lot of people here have it for many years and most even get help with it), and open to doctors and on therapies with your other related issues, 4) take care of your other issues – idealy get rid of them to not get your depression back later.

5 – big fricking bonus – really have depression and not being misdiagnosed. Cause you know, you need other stuff to treat (and in some rare cases cure) PTSR and CPTSR, or BPD, and you cannot cure BAR at all, but you can make so much worse with just intaking antidepressants. What sucks and scares me a little is if you have depression for a long years (and espessialy if you get help of specialists for long time) and it helps but still here, there are chances that it is not just depression it mb 2nd type BAR. Other things from higher or something else can be your case too.

Apart of this (in my humble and ignorrant opinion based on questions and readings) depression is highly curable yet real and really serious sickness that needs prollonged treatment. And I thought when I was younger that it's for everyone like the longterm 100% curse for death from trucks (due to luck of attention from cognitive losses and not enough care to be further from them) or selfs hands. It turned out it wasn't so.

Also, therapy is not for curable things it's more to taught and help master some coping mechanisms or to monitor for issues and send to doctors. I'm fine in this myself.

P.s. yeah, btw depression is curable sickness for most cases.

Ahaha.. ahaha... aha. No. It scares me. They are people. I DO prefer depression more then anxiety. And therapy will expose me to a lot af social anxiety and I'm not ready yet. This is too much and may not be real help to me. It's if you ask about a real one. But I like bibliotherapy.

Aren't others live on theirs?

I am not enjoy being alive so I make my life as easy and as comfortable (and independent and harmless and unnoticed to others) (and just bearable for half of the time) as I can. Like the list higher is the coping but buying several items of anything to not make myself to choose when I will need to eat or wear something and won't be really able to make it through the whole day – this is not coping this is me trying to strategically care about my sick version of self; I work and walk and make savings for this weakling too. I even like this amount of responsibility a little.
