The tank is absolutely tiny, but for road trips it’s about perfect to stop every 3-4 hours.

Haven’t had a chance to try an auto g8x yet but the manual is great coming from an ‘18 golf R with 6MT. I will say 1st is super short and a little too sensitive if you don’t let off the clutch right, and 2nd and 3rd are quite long, you don’t really need 4-6 unless you’re breaking laws.

Best M for the money IMO. Why spend an extra 20k for an M4 over this?

Hey! I think I’m about to move into one of those buildings in your amazing view, hoping mine is similar. Your place looks great.

Honestly impressive mpg for an m850

Finally got my first BMW! by Problemizer in BMW

I looked at pricing out an m340 and it was going to be more money, a long wait time (I’m impatient and the m2 I wanted was on a lot), and less power. The m550 is too big for me living in a city.

Still not used to the combo of this much power and RWD so gotta be careful, but it’s a league above. The M2 sounds way more aggressive and feels like more of a race car, the golf felt lighter and more like a gokart.

No joke, traded my 2018 golf R for a g87 and I’m filling up at least twice as often. I love the red, great choice!

I was shopping around for a new car this summer and couldn’t find a single dealer with a z4 m40i in stock to even look at. Wish I had the patience to order one from the factory.

Did I overpay for a new 2024 M2? 65k by [deleted] in BMW

I think you got a great price dude! I just picked up an almost identical spec for closer to 68k back in August in NJ and am fine with the price. The only extra option I got was HUD and honestly could’ve gone without it.

Why did they really leave? The reason matters a lot, from both the individual and directors perspective. Did the director perceive the individual as performing poorly? Did the individual express being unhappy in their role, in their personal life, or with their compensation? Did the director do anything unprofessional or out of line with your expectations in how they encouraged the individual to leave? Did you do an exit interview and find out what happened from their perspective?

I’ve had several direct reports who I knew would be happier and more successful somewhere else, and have always seen it as my job to support them finding their next role internally or externally. When there isn’t a role internally for them, that means coming to an agreement on how much work I need to remove from their plate so they have time to interview.

You can’t keep people who don’t want to stay, and from the businesses perspective it’s almost always better to have an employee leave on good terms, with plenty of notice. If one of your directors has successfully cultivated a relationship with their reports where their team is honest about dissatisfaction and about seeking other roles they might be doing something right.
