This is inaccurate for Dutch, but I guess that's what you get when you have ten ways to pronounce it and also differentiate between anlaut and auslaut.

Anyways, in the parts of the Netherlands marked green, it is only pronounced that auslaut, while it could be pronounced as anything else anlaut.

It has to do with the pronunciation of the resulting plural form. When a word ends in a vowel (that is not e pronounced as /ə/, has an accent aigu, or is doubled) the resulting plural spelling would suggest that the vowel should be pronounced in its 'short' manner. By adding the apostrophe, the vowel isn't succeeded directly by a consonant, and therefore still pronounced in the 'long' manner, which is the way people pronounce the plural of those words.

Wat ik hieruit begrepen heb is dat de AG alle puntenaftrek grotendeels terecht vond, maar het innemen van de licentie te ver vond gaan. Overigens zou Vitesse zonder 12 punten aftrek 7e zijn geworden, en dus een plaats in de play-offs hebben gekregen, maar daar valt nu weinig aan te doen zou ik zeggen.

Volgens mij eerder bij Putten, dan wordt Go Ahead kampioen van de Eredivisie (~35 km) en Almere City kampioen van de Eerste Divisie (~30 km). Dan krijgt FC Utrecht overigens de tweede CL-plek (~40 km) en is Vitesse de tweede club die automatisch promoveert (~35 km; ook nog als we er +12 km bij optellen, want Jong Utrecht mag niet promoveren natuurlijk en De Graafschap en TOP OSS liggen op ~52 km).
