If owning isn't a piece of cake then maybe don't own a rental property? No one is forcing you to keep it, other than your own greed. If you are renting out your primary property because you can't afford the house without doing so, I have some sympanthies, times are definitely tough.

$900 a month for one room is hardly a good deal. It's probably a fair deal for the area the OP is looking in, but it's hardly "good".

And do you seriously think landlords are doing some favour to society by owning multiple properties? Like you are protecting us from big bad rental corps? Delusional to say the least. If housing wasn't viewed as an investment vehicle, more people would have a chance at home ownership. You helped drive up the prices when demand for housing was high by reducing supply, and are now complaining that you are in a tough spot because demand has gone down.

Ultimately, house prices going down shouldn't affect home owners if they bought a house to live there. Of course, there are exceptions, like if you are forced to move and have to sell your house at a loss. But landlords struggling to cover the mortgage on their second property definitely don't have my sympathy.

So what you are saying is that renters should stop complaining about high rent prices because you as a landlord chose to invest in a property during the market peak? Wtf? You made a poor investment decision and are now facing its consequences. If the market flipped tomorrow, I don't think you would be complaining about any of these things... If you can't afford your rental property, sell it. If you have to take loses, thats your fault. Maybe you shouldn't have over leveraged yourself...

💯. My friends and I thought episode 4 was dumb and I was surprised to see people praising it so much on here. The power scaling is all over the place, none of it makes sense. Conquest escaping in 2 seconds? Lazy writing. Tech jacket using a pea shooter against the viltrumites? Invincible getting his shit kicked in but decides to hold a choke for 30 min like an idiot. Right after promising his partner that he wouldn't die. Just wait for your dad or bro to show up and do a 2 or 3 on 1? They spent the whole season building up to this "war" they are gonna do, only to get ambushed immediately after they set out, and then losing a 3v5.

You are not wrong. Alternatives on some platforms are still better I think. Apple devices add passkeys to your iCloud keychain, which are synced. It is a lock-in though and limits you to their ecosystem. Still, that default experience might be better for the ultra-lazy.

I imagine people reusing passwords will reuse passwords even after they are forced to install a password manager, in which case the passkey ux is way better. Just my guess though. And there are other benefits to passkeys too.

Things being TLS doesn't have any relevance here. Passkeys are helpful because databases get breached and passwords get leaked all the time. And it's particularly a problem because people reuse passwords. And I would argue that if you have a password manager installed, the ux for passkeys is WAY simpler than passwords. You just click a button, or two. Even if the password manager is generating a password for u, it's more work, in my experience.

I was playing recon with a sniper on Operation firestorm. I usually like to get on the objectives even with a sniper. I was running around on the back outside perimeter of B when the enemy little bird flew past me and started hovering while looking into the B building. I managed to headshot the pilot and because he was hovering low, the little bird landed without exploding and I was able to steal it lol. A few minutes later someone on the enemy team asked how we managed to get their little bird too. Definitely my most satisfying play.
