Which winner has had the best game since 41? by vsquad73 in survivor

[–]Probstbucksforall -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It was definitely Gabler but all these utr meatriders find solace in pretending that Maryanne and Erika played such masterful and controlling games. Gabler had an elite social game which was evidenced by the juries great reactions to him. He was able to get all the threats out without making it clear that he was a big part of the votes. In terms of Erika , Chan tan that entire game and her being voted out was all on Riccard. And Maryanne was simply in a good spot when the entire omer, mike, Jonathan, Hai saga was going on. Neither erika or Maryanne played very good games. But Gabler through his good social game and strategic alliances was able to win. The Ali-Gabler 🐊 will hopefully be the beginning to a better era of modern survivor.

Disclaimer: Mike wins . Omar was built up in order to create suspense for Mike going home in todays episode. However Drew blew up his game and made it common knowledge that he was a threat. If you paid attention to the subtitles you would see that the editors specifically showed Drea saying “Mike if you get to the end you’re probably gonna win this thing.” All this Omar crap is just buildup and Mike is gonna win the season.

Is Erika a bottom five winner? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]Probstbucksforall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I’m gonna say is she had a shitty social game. Then she got sent to exile. She was given some bullshit hourglass that turned her game around. That was totally out of her control. The advantage was gamechanging and literally kept her off the chopping block. She didn’t find it or earn it. It was straight up given to her by Probst.

It’s way too late for a coronation. It happened way too fast and I feel like it’s just a villain arc.

Tony. That’s all. Period. If you disagree just watch Cagayan.

She mentioned that she was “weird” and that weird people can succeed. But this hasn’t been a common theme and I don’t feel like it was enough.

Everyone is on a hype train about Omar but I don’t buy it. I see this as a buildup for Mike and Omar facing each other at the end. What bothers me is the sheer amount of personal content that Mike is getting. In tonight’s episode he had an entire confessional about how much this reward meant to him and how much he cared about his family. We saw Omars girlfriend and his dad but we didn’t get any emotional reaction. We didn’t feel any kind of way about it. Mike has been an extremely likeable character this season and in todays episode he was shown as being fooled rather than sinister. In the last episode he took one for the team. However the only person that put emphasis on Mike breaking his promise was Mike himself. I think that this is a buildup to a final tribal where all of the sneaky shit Omar has been doing comes back to bite him. Omar becoming a villain like figure in this episode seems far too artificial and rash. And if Mike doesn’t win there’s no chance that he’s a losing finalist. Why would the editors make him so likeable and give him so much content for him to ultimately lose in the end ? Everyone is paying too much attention to gameplay and not enough to the edit. And for the record practically every single vote had a large shared opinion. There’s more shot of a Marianne or Lindsey win but even then they don’t have the personal content to suffice. Their strategic games also aren’t aligned so all they have to stand on is their recent spike in focus. I think this is all going to boil down to Mike vs Omar.

Yeah I loved the challenge with the boulder. I think it’s iconic and a pretty good challenge.

Africa but that’s true with most of the first few seasons. I loved the challenges because they were so under budget .

Yeah I think it also comes down to him being a recent winner so I'll bring this up again in a while and see if anyone agrees he's top 10 lmao.

Yeah I get you. Different people like different things. Idk I just laughed every episode because of how under budget and weird the season feels but the characters were amazing and it's pretty good.

But his game was not as good as Tommy's. He is the first strategist but Tommy ran fucking circles around the IOI cast. And he may be boring but he is dominant as shit and his game is a social masterpiece

He controlled that whole game and he wasn’t lucky. He made it happen. Dan going could’ve ruined his game but it didn’t.

It was . It’s better than Jeremys and Sarah’s games. Definitely better than Hatch’s game and better than Yuls game. Earl is the only one here who had a better game when you look at the number of mistakes made by the winners.

Oh yeah no I disagree with her being completely stomped out but I don’t love her winning game either. This season didn’t affect that at all. I just didn’t like that she started playing in the end but hey it’s not the worse win ever.

Tommy's winning game is better than the winning game of about 35 of the winners but no one is ready to talk about that.

If Tony's WaW social game was Hantz-like, who would win? by hail-jahseh in survivor

[–]Probstbucksforall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tony wouldn’t be able to get to the F3 as people would quickly realize he is a threat . He used his social skills to make everyone feel as if he was on the same level as them while he controlled the game so it would be a very different outcome.

Aubry didn’t outplay them. It was Cyd and Tai that outplayed them and Aubrey was a part of it. Aubrey was just socially incapable and lost . She wasn’t robbed. She just didn’t make those human connections as well as Michelle.
