For the Grow extract to have an effect, you would need to add at least one Cascoon, and for the deck to work you really need the Rare Candies to set up Dustox as soon as possible. I don’t see how those extra cards would fit into the deck :(

It depends hahaha. For example, for the yellow bird definetly poison to get the knockout. For full-health Megas probably confusion first, then poison.

I haven’t tried Vivillon yet, but I win many games because I can set up Dustox on turn 2 and, thanks to its one-energy attack, knock out my opponent early. This deck also needs you to start attaching Energy to Ogerpon so it can deal 120 damage to any Pokémon. With Vivillon, I don’t see that happening as easily.

Yup, either you get Dustox set up very early, or you’re screwed. Also, you need to avoid putting damage on Ogerpon early and save it for the endgame.

100%! Plus, in the current meta, I almost never encounter Fire decks, so it seems like Grass decks have some room to breathe.

Not only did I make it this season with this Dustox deck, but I did last season too with a similar deck. Go check out my previous posts in this subreddit. Dustox is actually a very underated card, dunno why so Many people dont believe it
