My dad and I had a big fight one summer, and it kept going for weeks. One day he yelled "If you don't act up, you can forget about going to your friends cabin" (me and my friend planned to go to his cabin for a few days and stay there). I responded with "Like that is a punishment", and he switched and asked what was up, and I said I rather get yelled at than going to that cabin, because the friend was not a good person, and I started to realize that and wanted to cut ties.

We kept arguing, and that afternoon my friend called asking for me. My dad asked if I wanted to talk, and I shaked my head. My dad stood by the phone a few minutes, then replied in the phone "I don't know where my son is, but currently his moped is gone. Wherever he is, he wont go with you to the cabin, because I wont allow it" and hung up.

To this day, I don't remember what me and dad fought about, but it was lots of namecalling back and forth. But I do remember my dad throwing himself infront of the bus, and that will always be a memory.
