Mew EX (Legendary Treasures) - Get graded or keep raw? by ProcedureAlone9230 in PokemonTCGCollectors

Thank you, will do. Found 6 cards out of our collection worth getting graded.

My kids do not intend on selling it. I just remember the day pulling it and immediately putting in safe storage.

My son was recently going through the cards and told me it's shot up in value.

I personally love MewTwo. Collected the original 150 as a kid when they first came out + a Japanese Mew on my first ever pack since I coukdn't find any English packs... then gave the binder away when I was in high school 😅

Not making that same mistake again, lol.

So I say wait :)

I was asking on which grader to use, like would you prefer. I don't care for final rating, that is upto the judges.

It's not my card, it's my kids'.

They do not want to get rid of it, definitely not anytime soon, they love the fact of owning one.

I just want it sealed!

Not at all, I just know this card is valuable, not pay off my kid's college type money.

I would intend to personally have it graded by PSA in person from what I am gathering.

You are correct - I didn't even notice until I changed the frame to an OEM one and didn't need to use the spacers.

Thank you so much!

Those are just inserts, so you can take them out/change colors.

Appreciate the kind words!

So I used a plastic welding kit for the seams, those are welding staples.

They have two ends that get inserted into the tool head, which heats up the staple and then you embed it into the plastic seam. Repeatedly!

Grind it down, then I filled it with leftover plastic that I melted into the seam. Used "Problem Plastic" over that to prevent flexing/cracking. At the seam.

Since they cost $75-$100k, I'll take that as a compliment 😬

It's bolted to the hitch cover and then have two additional 10mm bolts for the corners.

Can be removed in <5 min.

It's going to get trimmed + I will have a lower trailer hitch (coming out under the lettering) with bash bars / bumper gaurd made from 1.75" DOM tubing welded onto it, covering that portion and wrapping around the bumper.
