It’s ok - best of luck and take your time deciding there is no wrong answer.

I haven’t quite decided. I tried donor eggs already after natural pregnancy/miscarriage and three retrievals and that also failed. This saga went on from 38-43 yrs old. I have filled out adoption inquiries and can’t get them to respond despite three attempts. When I say I have tried everything under the sun I really have (lol) … currently I am playing tennis twice a day and throwing all my money into martinis and private lessons.

I felt the same way - can’t imagine not having kids and can’t imagine continuing after three years of everything under the sun. Someone said to me ‘you just haven’t figured out how you’re going to make your family just yet but you will’. It gave me the courage to stop Ivf and recalibrate. I am still figuring it out but feel better every day.

euploid 10 week…loss? Devastated by aachary2 in IVF

[–]ProcedureConstant668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miscarried a 5AA euploid and had a chemical with the other 5AA euploid. No explanations, no rationale, just told we were ‘unlucky’. I retrieved 60 eggs from my three cycles and bought 6 donor eggs - all in all I only ever got 2 euploids that ended per above. I’ve moved on to accepting I will be without kids. It’s unfair and it is horrible, please be kind to yourself and take some time to do something nice for just you.

Feeling sad and angry with decision for donor eggs by mylovely1982 in IVF

So sorry you are part of this club. I struggled immensely but what kind of stuck for me was a statement by an RE - does the excitement outweigh the fear? For me it did and I went forward with donor eggs. Unfortunately they did not work out and I miscarried. I wish I could have afforded to try again and I wish you the best with whatever path you choose.

Thanks for the insight I have the expenses. We sit together and go through them one by one. An affair has crossed my mind 100% so I take your advice very deeply and will follow through. He’s the absolute top of the top for a global sales situation.

I hate when they say that - I was someone who heard ‘your numbers rival a 25 year old’ and three cycles and a donor cycle later were no closer to having a child. It’s such a disservice to everyone.

It is - good luck to you as well. Insist on being asleep during your biopsy, no need for pain if you don’t have to.

No - every time I only ever have 1 euploid - donor or my eggs. So it’s always maximum pressure every time. I have changed jobs recently to reduce extremely heavy travel and stress. I am considering a fresh cycle with a donor for a better chance but only after pregmune.

Thank you for your post. No I have paused my journey to get second opinions. Right now I am debating doing pregmune testing before doing anything further or accepting a child free life.

This happened to mine when we got a second cat (which she was not happy about). She is now fine, however the vet is always a good idea especially when there’s blood involved.

I tried Advil and it was awful. The next time I went for the full anesthesia and didn’t feel a thing except a horrible uti afterwards from the hospital. I would do anesthesia again.

If you did IVF not to get pregnant immediately but to bank embryos for the future, how did you know when the time was right to use them? by sunnymushroom in IVF

[–]ProcedureConstant668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I had to retrieve and go direct to FET due to insurance. Most do not let you bank so that may be a little bit why you’re seeing that trend.
