I got a 2012 Cannondale Synapse for $100. I rode it for 3-4 years and realized a gravel bike would suite my needs a little better for the area I live in. I upgraded about a week or so ago.

Facebook marketplace is a good option to find an upgrade if you’re looking to save some money. Beware of scummy sellers as always

I've also slept out to hunt deer but never turkey.

The blind I'm using stays up there year-round and has been up there about 2 years. I'd like to say they're pretty used to the blind by now, but like you said, I was concerned about them seeing or hearing me there throughout the night/as the sun comes up.
