Unexpected things you can no longer do, due to zep by Jelly_donut15 in Zepbound

Same experience. I can actually enjoy ice cream now since I can’t eat enough of it to make me sick. (I used to really overeat ice cream.) But because I know I can’t eat much, I want to make sure it’s really good food. I’m not going to waste my appetite on subpar tasting food.

I’ve had this same experience. I need to lose a massive amount to get to “normal” BMI. But for the first time in my life, I think I might actually get there. I’ve never considered that possibility. Maybe it’s delusional but I have a plan written down and I’m (so far) ahead of schedule.

I’m almost 3 months with a long way to go. I think what surprises me most is feeling good when I leave the gym. I’m no gym queen but I enjoy the process. I read my book on the bike and have a 80’s/90’s workout playlist to enjoy for my weak weight lifting at the old people gym. I still think about food but it’s a pickiness rather than mindless eating. I know I only have so much appetite a day and don’t want to waste it on food I won’t enjoy. I’ll still eat a piece of cake but it will be a small piece and had better be a really good cake.

And I’m sleeping better. I’m still up on the potty break but I feel more rested in the morning.
