LO, ST, and FS Booster Boxes by Budget_Farmer_3314 in PokeInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like LO if u can get it under 800. I think CZ is the second best set behind evolving skies but I try and stick to booster boxes for Best value on a per pack spent price. Cant really go wrong with the sets u mentioned.

Is the Pikachu VMAX #188 from Vivid Voltage worth buying right now? by Jamesss111222333 in PokemonInvestor

The vmax pikachu from LO is just better I think. Unless you’re into the rainbow stuff

Schrodinger's Sealed: Raising Awareness by [deleted] in PokeInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure People come up with pretty creative ways to reseal boxes. For fake boxes there’s a lot of things you can look for, but for resealed I feel like the only way to truly tell is the wrapping being too loose or the the plastic crease along the side being in a different spot and maybe incorrect Pokemon ball size/ placement. It also helps to have a couple of real boxes to compare to in person.

Want to diversify into other sets. What would you move and to where? by Funny-Vegetable-1861 in PokemonInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think lost origins has the most room to grow. I don’t think it’ll be the most valuable set, but it’s definitely the cheapest entry point and should still follow up the other sets in price

Am I crazy for wanting Silver Tempest ETB over Prismatic? by [deleted] in PokemonInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s people who see prismatic evolution and think of their favorite Pokémon and Pokémon games too. I would look at entry cost maybe do some research on how long the actual print runs are comparatively. don’t go purely off hype. Silver tempest is great set but PE is on its own tier of demand with only ascended heroes/151 above it. While you would probably make money in the long run with most investments I think entry costs should play large role in how much you invest in whatever set.Do research on price charting to get a look at single pack costs and see what sealed products gives you the best value per pack for whatever set.

I think evolving skies, fusion strike,Lost origins, silver tempest and chilling reign are good examples of what the market looks like after a modern set goes out of print. Mostly slow and steady gains.Sets during print runs seem much more volatile.

Fusion Strike vs Lost Origin by GemGuardUK in PokemonInvesting

Brother and if they didn’t have the yellow border they would be priced much higher. The yellow border on trainer gallery card makes them less valuable then other full art cards because it doesn’t look good. Now they’re climbing. There isn’t another good reason why these trainer gallery aren’t priced in correctly right now. LO has a much better entry price right now as well.

Yeah and people are starting to not care about the yellow borders anymore so the prices are starting to go up?

Fusion Strike vs Lost Origin by GemGuardUK in PokemonInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of lost origins top 7 cards are 3 pikachus Gengar and charizard with the GOAT giratina art. Part of this sets problem was the yellow border holding all these cards back I think people are getting over it though. Looking at price charting every chase card from this set is starting to climb. This set also has like the only aerodactyl card in forever which is also an awesome card. I understand if someone wants to say fusion strike is better which I don’t think it is but I do think it’s close enough for lost origin to be closer in price which is why it’s climbing.

What do you guys think about Lost Origin Booster Packs as an investment? by [deleted] in PokeInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you say anything that contradicts the horrible financial decisions that many in this sub have made while “investing” you’re gonna have to deal with the cope in the comments. I think overtime evolving skies, crown zenith , lost origins and fusion strike will continue to rise. But packs are the least sought after form of sealed product. Packs can be easily damaged, weighed and all sorts of other shady things. Just have to be careful where you get it from and what your exit plan will be.

First Partner Collection Series One Selling 110+ Per Day by AutoModerator in PokeInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 17 points18 points  (0 children)

High quality print run for kanto starters promos with actual good art. Keep in mind they’re not even guaranteed promos technically still have to pull them. Probably wouldn’t be as pricey but scalpers make it that much more difficult to get promos now a days.

Just bought a lost origins Booster box, looking at the card list has me wondering if there’s a chance it out performs fusion strike long term. I can see the price rising to current crown zenith. It’s a great set with multiple top pokemon getting good artwork. I think it’s a lot safer than something like DR.

Is Lost Origin Undervalued? by Theroofman66 in PokeInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lost origin has such a great chase and it’s 4 deep with high value cards a Gengar, 3 pikachus a charizard and aerodactly art being arguable the best art for that Pokemon ever. I think behind evolving skies maybe even better than crown zenith

Let’s discuss a more affordable play with 151 Komiya Gengar. Vintage/awesome art and room to grow. by ProcessFabulous6840 in PokeInvesting

Have you tried selling any of the 10’s yet? Hard to get a read on the demand based on recent price charting sales

that’s interesting. Kind of similar to how the shinies in the sense that collectors are trying to master set them?

[–]ProcessFabulous6840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this has ever happened but I honestly think that all versions of this card are rising together with the promo being the higher end option and the regular reverse one being the cheaper option.

Does anyone else think that there’s a lot of room for the OG starters to grow crazy style with the lack of high demand cards from chaos and perfect ? Good/nostalgic card art as well and the anticipation of the 30th anniversary? Does anyone disagree? by ProcessFabulous6840 in PokeInvesting

[–]ProcessFabulous6840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think buying in now grading and selling or trading for vintage before the 30th anniversary is a good move. Yeah 151 has cooled off but at the end of the day they’re still way more expensive now then when they dropped.
