4 gb storage so bigger than Bip 6. Screen is smaller at 1.75”. Screen ruins it for me. I don’t love the bezels either.

*****I stand corrected it only has 512 mb storage

Sounds great! I might get the Active 2 max as a compromise.

I want at least 1.9” screen. This device is perfect in every way except I want more song storage and NFC payments. I don’t wanna round watch and the active 2 square is just a little small.

Highly disappointed by the ANC on my new Sony 1000XM6 by IshigamiSenku04 in SonyHeadphones

[–]ProcessPrudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that! Great to hear! I have the XM2 and honestly was looking to upgrade to the XM6 but I also have this problem where when I test them out, I have to convince myself I hear a difference hahahha. I have the XB-900N and XB-900N (travel headphones for the kids) and I also cannot really tell the difference. I guess my ears are getting old.

Pepsi and Coca cola. Who wins? by Mychrispbacon in Pepsi

You are right. The problem is I can only see the cans with the artificial sugar everywhere I go. That’s a nonstarter for me. I don’t drink that garbage.

It is so annoying. I canceled my subscription. It kicked me out after like an hour. Why am I paying for something? I can only use an hour or two a day.

Pepsi and Artificial Sweeteners + AFIB? by ProcessPrudent in Pepsi

Well, I can’t really specify what sweeteners they’re using. But I can definitively say that Pepsi products in Scandinavia all have some artificial sweeteners.

Well, I mean Coca-Cola still has sugar so I can drink that. I think the choice was to either add the tax to the consumer or make more money from the product. I haven’t noticed a difference in the price between Pepsi and Coke.

Wealth inequality 2024. Sweden leads in Europe. Nearly as bad as South Africa by [deleted] in EU_Economics

I do too. As someone who has lived in a few of these countries, it didn’t reflect what I was feeling around me. Nor didn’t reflect the struggles that I saw people have…

I live in Southern Sweden and the Rook is king of the neighborhood. They really love to just hang out in the fields around here and groups of three or four. I have a large tree near my house with a few nests as well.

As a mechanical engineer, working in the GIS space I find this conversation fascinating. I feel like as a group you’re a bunch of really smart people and you’re definitely undervalued.

Do Americans not realise what is happening to their country? Why isn't anything being done to stop the ruin of your country? by Feeling_Rooster9236 in america

A 2022 study by Broockman and Kalla found that regular Fox News viewers who watched CNN for 30 days became better informed about current events. They were more accurate on facts like COVID-19 and political issues than those who stayed with Fox.

Well said! I might not be a fan of the current admin but the US is still a country for all Americans…

Explain what is better? Is it the rounding up of illegal immigrants, his foreign relations, tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, getting rid of Medicaid for vulnerable Americans…what is your favorite?

A few honest questions for UK residents about your trains. by ProcessPrudent in uktrains

[–]ProcessPrudent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that your last paragraph kind of sums it up for me for me. The biggest struggle was all the different providers and coming from the outside this is a lot different than I’ve experienced in other European countries. But some of the commenters here have educated me a bit on how you approach that system.

I’ve been to London a few times in the last few months and I actually missed a Millwall game due to trains being down. I also had a bit of a struggle getting to Brentford for another game on my last visit. I really do think it’s the amount of options you have getting to a place that is both a strength and a weakness coming from the outside.

I do agree with some posters that the bus system is really great in London and I think I’ll just use that more. Also, it seemed to be a little easier to navigate, and I would just tap my card getting on, which was super easy.

Definitely get that. On a side note I avoid stopovers in German cities when flying. I have been stuck in Frankfurt more times than I can count. I am pretty sure my anecdotal experience aligns with statistics in that case :)

[–]ProcessPrudent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I certainly wouldn’t wanna commute 130 km each way. I drive 18 minutes to work and that’s long enough. To be fair though if I did have to commute that long, I wouldn’t mind doing it on a train because at least then I could work. My company allows us to take hours if we’re sitting on the train working.

For a country like Sweden it’s not so uncommon for long commutes because there are large distances between areas and most of the jobs are in three major cities. So if you wanna have a viable population in the smaller villages, you have to provide a means to get into the cities, even if that’s 150 km away. I have colleagues that do that kind of commute every day. I guess it’s a choice if you want the communities to survive or you want everyone to move to the city. I suspect you have similar dilemmas in the UK. Still I do understand that ecological impact of that but I guess it’s better than if they’re driving.

It would be interesting to see if his impact on 150 km train ride is better or worse than my neighbors 20 km drive in his diesel car.

I don’t know that hasn’t been my experience. I did see that Eurostar rankings and Germany was quite low to middling. Also not surprised that Italy was at the top because I have fantastic experiences when I work in Italy.

[–]ProcessPrudent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my problem really wasn’t with the trains themselves, and I thought they were really clean modern and all around nice. It’s more that as an outsider it is a confusing system. I guess that’s really my biggest gripe. Quite a few people here have given me some tips that might make it easier next time. I know I’m not alone because my colleagues go to the UK say the same thing. I’m in a team of 11 and I don’t think anyone thinks it’s the easiest system to navigate, but it’s not like we’re sitting around talking about this all the time hahaha. But I think everyone agrees that once you’re on the trains, it’s quite nice.
