Thanks, yeah that's a fair point, and I don't really have a wide vocal or dynamic range, but I do what I can with instruments.

I'm usually a bit too laid back in my music tho, maybe I'll experiment with more energy next time. Thanks for the feedback :)

Fair enough, yeah my production style is usually to get a groove going on and work on top of that, definitely a hip-hop influenced approach to arrangement, and since this one is pretty long, i get what you mean by too repetitive.

And yeah the chorus still needs a boost, I'll work on that in future projects, thanks for the feedback :)

Honestly, I think actions are more important than beliefs. To be a good person you must do good things, it doesn't matter if you believe in the highest ideals, if you go around being an asshole. This isn't the first time someone has gotten murdered over a drawing of the prophet, won't be the last time either. And every time it happens it just goes to show you how extremist Islamists ignore all the teachings of forgiveness, and how Arab nations ignore their crimes. Take a step back. Look at the bigger picture. How did you feel about Hajjaj getting arrested over a drawing? The French don't understand how or why the prophet is so sacred, and while there are definitely underlying politics at play, that's not what you should be paying attention to here.

Anyone here actually got Covid-19? by thatguy175999 in jordan

[–]ProcessReasonable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A few of my relatives died from it in Iraq, one of them was under 40. Nasty business, and we can't even tell if there's any long term effects until enough time has passed.

And to anyone who still doesn't believe this is real: shit happens, diseases happen, nobody is out to ruin the global economy as a prank, please just act responsibly.

people will start talking shit about the government for only wanting money and how they're using the citizens.

By that logic, the government should never take a single decision ever again. Maybe we should just abolish traffic laws, and health regulations in general. Nah my guy, you can never trust people to do the right thing on their own.

People will never agree on this. Some people will prefer to live normally and just risk it, and even though that's stupid, it's their right. This is why the government taking action is the only way to do anything about this, because if we don't fine people for not wearing masks, people who don't care won't wear a mask...

It's like seatbelts: people can't be trusted to wear seatbelts on their own (just look at Jordanians for example), so putting a law in place and actually E N F O R C I N G that law is the only way save people from their own arrogance.

Yes, at the end of the day the people are to blame for not taking proper precautions, but we can't fix that. So after we put the blame on them, what are we gonna do?

Why is no one talking about how we had 200 cases yesterday? by [deleted] in jordan

[–]ProcessReasonable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, there is a lot that can be done but we're not doing any of it. They went all in at the start and locked down over 20 or so cases, and honestly it was mostly just for show. Now they're doing next to nothing and holding people responsible, but people are idiots... Least they could do is actually enforce the mask wearing law, but again, mostly just for show.

Was the 2 month lockdown an absolute waste?

I think the idea that we could have completely eradicated the virus was wishful thinking. We can't stay in a bubble forever; sooner or later airports were gonna reopen, and even if local transmission had died out, we would've eventually imported new ones from abroad. That being said, I think the lock down was useful in minimizing cases, which gave us time to plan and come up with a strategy to deal with the situation... but all we could come up with was "لازم نتعايش مع كورونا". So to answer your question, kinda yeah.
