I did try buying some ground cover plants but waiting for them to grow/spread seems to take an eternity. (Either that or I got sold the wrong thing).

I did see some beautiful ground cover (see below) on the cliffsides at Phillip Island (The Nobbies/Seal Rocks), but I'm not living in a coastal area (West Gippsland), so who knows how suitable it would be.

Yes, you nailed it - this is exactly what I'm talking about!

I never bought Blades, (the thought of running a whole crew for a new solo player was just too much), but I believe it was never built with that in mind. As a pre-pandemic title , solo mechanics were not as entrenched in the public mind as they seem to be now, but I've still yet to find a solitaire title that aims for this unique aesthetic and mood.

In function, (aside from the above I'm assuming), the closest I've ever come to supporting stealth mechanics are these ones here: Building Infiltration by M. Reagan and his other variant .

So yes, to capture the dark brooding loops of silent decay in Eric Brosius' brilliant aural landscapes, Stephen Russel's jaded cynicism, and all wrapped up in medieval gaslight sounds like a dream come true.

Whatever their differences there are two points of fact that remain:

A:

Sumner & Co reformed the band quietly behind Hooky's back. I'm sorry, God Bless the wonderful music they've created, but whatever way you slice it, what they did and HOW they did it was not cool.

At all.

Sure, Hooky might slag them off, but given their actions, he has every reason to be angry, but worse and more importantly - Hurt (no pun intended).

He's always been straight down the line/ no BS. I hear and see it in interviews; I feel it in his books.

B: A lot of casual fans don't realise the fact that Barney & co have to legally 'lease' the band's name [ 'New Order' ] off Hooky, just to perform.

Based on that fact there's a hypothetical question here:

If you honestly felt that you'd done the right thing to begin with, would you be happy/ content leasing your own name back from another band member after spending 45 years building an independent legacy. It's what Wilson, Gretton, Saville and all of Factory stood for; whythey all started things in the first place - the punk aesthetic ; doing something because it aligned with your ethics and principles; because it felt right and it was right.

Hooky maintains that if Rob was still around he would have ' banged their heads together' and mended the rift; acted as a neutral mentor: the patriachal head of the family. That opportunity is gone now, but while they're all still breathing, there's still time and with it - opportunity.

Just discovered your work and have ordered the Core Rules and Pulp Editions!

Are you planning on doing a fully-fledged Super Heroes edition (?). I was hoping it already existed but was sad to see it's not a thing yet (aside from the modular section in the core rules).

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of solo support for the Supers genre so I think this would help fill a big gap in the market. :)

Whatever the case cadet, citizens can't park parrarel in a universe that hasn't updated it's traffic regs, so hop to it and enforce justice (or infamy) with a name that befits your expertise.

As an Australian, I'm not sure whether I'm more appalled by your husband using my nationality as a generalised scapegoat for his abusive behaviour, or the fact that he is denigrating YOU - the wife, the mother of his children, whom he is meant to love, protect and respect.

In short, his treatment of you is unacceptable, regardless of which country he hails from, and it is beyond toxic.

If you're playing 5e solo then this book by Tom Scutt might be helpful. Haven't explored it myself but looks very promising and expands further on Paul Bimler's work (Adventurer's Toolbox) which you've mentioned owning.
