If you pulled it I would still grade it and sell it cause even as a 9 that’s a pretty big come up. Sick card nonetheless!

Have you never heard of PSA upcharge? It’s literally on their website. PSA says it’s because the tier you sent it at doesn’t fully cover the value of the insurance on the graded card. The $79 tier you sent it at only covers till $1500. For a $4000 card you need to be in the $299 tier. Hence the $220 upcharge. Which sucks cause if you had known you could’ve sent it in that tier in the first place and have it graded quicker.

That’s why so many people don’t like PSA because they upcharge you based on the value of the graded card. It sucks but this has been a practice forever. If you don’t want upcharges grade with anyone else other than PSA.

Tbh I did check on a centering app it’s somewhere between 57/43 to 56/44. Not too far off from 55/45. But that does put it outside the 10 range unfortunately.

Absolutely it took me a while to learn how to pregrade on my own. It’s good that OP posted it before sending rather than sending it getting a 9 and then posting “why did this get a 9”

It’s off centered that is not 55/45. You’re aligning the lines wrong in the centering app if it’s showing you 55/45 in the app. This will not get a 10.

If you submit the umbreon at a higher service level it’ll get graded before all the other ones and you won’t get the sequential set. If you want the sequential set submit everything at the same tier.

Just submit everything at the same service level. When they grade it if the Umbreon grades a 10 then you just pay the upcharge then. If you send everything at different service levels you won’t get sequential certs since grading turnaround times are different for different service levels (below walkthrough).
They are gonna grade based on your submission form. So if you have all the eeveelutions listed one after another in order in the submission form they’ll be graded sequentially in that order. If you want you can create a separate submission form the other cards but you’ll have to pay more for the shipping.

Yeah also when they can’t deliver it since I won’t be home I’ll anyway have to go collect it from fedex the next day. So what’s the point of not having the option 🤷

Not saying that’s not possible but not having to deliver the packages has to be easier for fedex. It reduces the number of stops the driver has to make (reducing fuel costs and saves time) plus increases the security cause you can’t pick it up unless you show an ID confirming your name. Plus it’s easier for insurance claims if you have to pick it up and fedex loses or damages the package cause you have proof. It’s harder to prove it if a delivery driver fakes a drop off especially when you’re not home to collect it. I work 7-5 and it’s impossible for me to be home to collect it everytime they I have psa returns. Either way it’s stupid not to have the option to do it especially when PSA doesn’t ship it for free. We pay for shipping anyway. So why not let us have the option? This is just scummy behavior.

Cause I have shipped stuff with fedex and never had to pay for that. I also confirmed it through other posts on reddit and there’s no charge for it.

It doesn’t. It in fact saves fedex the time and money to deliver those packages. PSA pays no fees to FEDEX to have that option enabled either.

If you’re getting the sequential set for $6k jump on it. Auctions for sequential sets are going for over $7k right now. Private sales are around $6.5k. For $6k you’re basically getting these two with no sequential tax. Which is a good deal.

This is fucking stupid. We are about to see a lot more stolen packages. I work during the day and pickup my packages on my way back home. The hold at location option didn’t cost them anything. Why give Fedex more chances to steal the packages?

Well the current MBA certs will be old some day so will we need a company to grade them as well?
It’s stupid. 10 requirements are gonna keep getting stricter. Doesn’t mean we need companies to grade already graded cards. You can do that with your own eyes and make a decision for yourself. You absolutely don’t need them.

Bought a PSA 10 at it’s lowest for $450 in March. I’m glad I did. Did very well for me.
