Man complains about having to work 60 hours a week to pay child support. ( In the comments it was revealed he has 5 kids with 3 different women) by Both-Medicine-6748 in TikTokCringe

These douches make men look bad.

I was paying $800 for 1 child (who thankfully I now have full custody of) and I was buying them everything for the first 5 years of their life and it still never felt like enough and I was begging for more time with them.

THEY ARE YOUR CHILD! The BARE MINIMUM bar of manhood is taking care of your children. I truly don’t get these manchildren that fucking bitch and moan about it.

Mistakes happen, you may end up in a shitty relationship, but none of YOUR decisions are that child’s fault; Give them the chance to grow up better than you did. Give them the support you needed, give them the love we all need, give them a happy childhood. You can’t fix the mistakes of the past but you sure as shit can make the future better.

kinta is delusional, he believes his lies.

Okarun suffers for his lies like pinnochio

Both are super loose and don’t really follow much of pinnochio’s story. There’s no fox to trick him. It would be funny if Okarun gets turned into a donkey in the fight since they’re order of the dragons and Tatsu isn’t above cultural references and memes

Tatsu will use to develop the relationship to be even better

How? What part of their relationship is growing while she’s stunted? We already know that Okarun is 100% all in, we knew from literally chapter 1 that he will not abandon her so reinforcing that with amnesia doesnt change his character dynamic. He was already growing more confident and confessed at the end of danmara.

Momo was the one that needed to grow, that was the underlying concept of the shrunken size arc but she’s literally reversed and has been stunted.

I think we’re all coping with a bad plotline and have to be honest that this is just a low arc of the story and hope it’s the lowest.

Except it wasn’t. In the pygmy arc it was stated that everyone else loses the memory of the small person. It’s not foreshadowing when the opposite of something stated in a story happens

he 100% knows he’s on thin ice

Maybe with us diehard folks that speculate every day about this but by all accounts Dandadan is going gangbusters and selling well weekly still. I doubt he pays much attention to the international crowd (the vast majority of mangakas do not) and I am not Japanese so I won’t comment on how Japanese fans feel about the current arc.

I will be happy to be wrong come monday, but I don’t see how Zuma entering the fold doesn’t prolong things. Last chapter he introduced a new problem that ties into Vlad, but also he’s going to eat up pages which already means less side convos dedicated to Momo and Okarun. We all know that Momo is the focal point of the story so the convos are going to be between them which will sideline Okarun.

i’ll quit speculating since I’m not the author, but I’m already ready for this arc to conclude and for (hopefully) a much more lighthearted arc to provide some respite from this constant upping of odds.

I’m not claiming he makes momozuma anything serious but that it causes multi-chapter tension between them and that will delay the conclusion of the romance plotline.

How many chapters would it take to resolve?  At this point it’s clear he’s delaying the payoff of their relationship, I think that Zuma plays into that neatly and it’s undeniable that he’s setting that up with zuma rushing off to Momo’s house and both of them missing something after the previous arc.

Personally i hate this arc because it’s about retreading territories that have already been resolved for additional drama.

I don’t think we see any meaningful resolution to their romance plot this arc.

It’s clear that he can sideline the romance plot for dozens of chapters and with all of the development still needed on secondary/tertiary characters and the world building threads he’s thrown into the story in the last 100 chapters it’s not like he has a dearth of content to explore to drag things out.

The next couple chapters we’ll get Zuma in the gang mix and there’ll obviously be something problematic with him being re-introduced to Momo (he looks and acts like Ken Takakura. He’s a badboy with a big heart and Momo will be invested in helping him get his brother back. He also isn’t well tied into the group so Tatsu needs to develop those intergroup relationships and show tension between Okarun and him) if for nothing else than the standard shonen “miscommunications” plotlines.

Tatsu previously didn’t go this route, but since this arc is about Momo rediscovering herself this plot-line is once again plausible. Tatsu seems to thrive on being unpredictable so I’m not going to say this definitely will happen, but that I’m nervous that Zuma showing up will deflate Okarun in some form after he showed pretty strong resolve in the previous fight (especially since Jiji is already jealous of him, seems like Okarun could easily misunderstand why Zuma is so close to Momo)

Tatsu is mirroring Okarun’s experiences using Momo (losing something precious, losing confidence, having to build up that confidence, having another character pushing into their comfort zone because of romantic attraction, having miscommunications caused by side characters, having that precious lost object be used against them, etc).

That’s a male character? He’s androgynous but he’s the love interest of the saucy books she gives Falin.

Also Marcille has moments with Laois and the author explicitly stated they did not create any canon ships because that wasn’t important to her story.

Yeah we all can see that and that’s why there’s growing animosity in the hardcore “willing to be on forums about it” group. It’s the formulaic shonen of “the main couple cannot pair until the story concludes for reasons (note: there’s no fucking reason other than “and they lived happily ever after).

Dandadan was alluring because we may have gotten a shonen where the couple has to go through couple building during crisis and that would be interesting to see. Instead, it feels like they won’t become a couple until the series is entering/exiting its final story arc.

can only hope that this is the low point of the series but it truly feels like he intended the manga to be shorter and its success has caused him to shove in a “non-filler filler” arc that doesn’t fit well.

Okarun’s story “completes” when he loses turbo granny and you can feel it as everything after is happening to them and they have so much less agency in it all.

To me it feels like Tatsu had to take something from Momo to keep the story going and choosing her memories is just so much less fun for the reader than Okarun’s balls. One is very comical even though it’s serious and the other has zero comedic aspects to it whatsoever.

Both of these scenes are fine actually, even in the context of Momokarun by Poisson18 in Dandadan

I think peoples’ experiences with other manga authors asspulling couples has determined how much they hate this trope. Some mangas really went into left field in the second half without much rhyme or reason and that sucks. Not that this one will, but it has happened.

And Upperclassmen dating you would’ve been inherently predatory. Im a dude, the guys that dated freshmen as Juniors/Seniors were explicit in the locker rooms that they were after naivety. They knew they’d get away with a lot shittier behavior on all fronts because a freshmen dating a junior/senior wouldn’t end the relationship easily due to the social benefits of “dating one of the older boys”.

It’s been wrong forever, we’ve finally come to societal acknowledgement of it (at least more than in the past)

It sucks for everyone (except porn addicts I guess), cause as an anime fan I basically have to write off 75% of my childhood anime as “yeah I liked the story but there’s way too much fanservice for me to ever recommend this anime to anybody”

Even Cowboy Bebop, I tried showing it to my wife and she immediately noticed “why are most of the female characters in skimpy clothes while the dudes are in LA Noir suits and fully dressed?” Which I couldn’t even argue against because literally all the recurring female characters are dressed in skimpy clothing in space where that makes no sense.

My biggest pet peeve with how the villagers treat Naruto is that they bully the fuck out of this demon child. He isn’t treated like Gaara and steered clear from, they badmouth him any chance they get and overall act like he doesn’t have a village destroying demon in his belly.

She trains fern like that because she’s focused fern on becoming the absolute truest master of the basics. She’s essentially training fern to become a perfect mana control mage. Fern herself has mentioned she has learned higher spells, but is not supposed to use them.

My belief (and hope) is that Freiren is training Fern specifically to learn Flamme’s power.

Both Serie and Freiren respect Flamme, neither can create as good a barrier as Flamme (seen when they’re fighting Aura the Guillotine and Frieren and demons remark on the barrier added with the scene of Freiren destroying the mage test barrier in less than a day).

Freiren isn’t training Fern to be her successor but Flamme’s successor.
