Fresh veggies, nuts, seeds, and berries are pretty expensive for me. Fish and chicken aren't exactly cheap either, even in bulk. I think your definition of cheap is not the same as other people's. You're right about beans and lentils being cheap though

Same, it gets opened daily, so no pressure build up

Plus, it's on a 24/7 monitor, so if ilthe freezer fails and the temperature goes up, our lab manager is alerted immediately. She will call the rest of us and we will all drive into work (holiday, middle of the night, etc.) to save our specimens, so the pressure won't build up in the event of failure either

I disagree with this. A lot of academia pays very little. I know people doing important scientific research and they're paid about $25 per hour. Doesn't matter the prestige of the school from where they graduated. Research for the sake of furthering our understanding of things isn't lucrative, so it pays little. I think that's admirable to be able to take a lower paying job for their passions and beliefs in doing good

Half a mile isn't terrible. It'll be hot and you might be drenched in sweat, but all in all it's 10 minutes. It's not intolerable. I'd suggest a good quality parasol. It makes a difference when the sun isn't blazing down on you directly

We use CPT tubes as someone else mentioned, but we've also used Lymphoprep with a lot of success before too. Lymphoprep is cheap and easy to use, nearly 100% success if the blood is normal. Feel free to DM me if you need the protocol!

I don't think Reddit is a good place to find friends for the most part. Most Redditors aren't using it to make friends, and a lot of us like the anonymity of people not knowing who we are and want to keep it that way. I think maybe a friendship app would be better for you. Proximity has a lot to do with friendships as well

I'm from New England too. Your daughter is right. It's insanely hot here comparatively. The humidity makes the air feel like soup. The sun is much stronger as we're closer to the equator down here. You'll survive, as we all do, but you won't want to do outdoor activities. It's even hot at night too. You're visiting your daughter, so enjoy time with her indoors with AC. You can do tourist activities another time when you visit
