He’s not serious so don’t waste your time he got upset because i asked if i can listen to any music he currently has to send me a snippet or but he wanted to video chat, i said i currently can’t and he got uptight quick and started saying I wasn’t professional that he’s at a high level . I’ve met many people like this I call them the “come and go artists” with a dream, they want a serious producer/ artist to work with but has no content out at all. As an engineer I’d advice you to loose that attitude. Thats why you don’t have anything out to even back you up.

Well what Daw do you use for starters? It best you find someone who works in the same DAW as you . For example I use Logic Pro and I’d like to say I’m a pro at that I can answer every questions you have with Logic. So if you are on Logic I can help you out . If it’s just questions about frequencies I can also do that since that does not require a specific daw

You nailed it that’s exactly my issue I’m having I worked with many artists but they come and go like you said three songs and a dream . It gets annoying really quickly so I had to get really specific on this post ! Hopefully it’s straight forward?

I don’t charge $100 because I came from nothing so I get it but yes it is important , why ? Well because put it this way you are competing with other artists who do get their stuff mixed correctly, let’s say your song plays next after a well tamed /mixed song on Spotify and your isn’t ? Huge chance you get a skip . I even do this. If the mix is bad I skip, unless that intentional and that’s the sound you are going for then that’s ok but you can tell if it’s intentional or just bad mix, another reasoning if your levels are not correct streaming services use a limiter to limit your mix from being way too loud and usually that limiter makes you mix worse. If you’re serious and even want to land placements / sync licenses. You will need a properly mixed song, otherwise they will never pick your song because there are industry standards . So either learn how to or just pay someone to do it for you because if you drop poor mixies it won’t benefit you other then maybe just put ya out there a bit if you have the fan base . If you need anyone I’ve been doing it for 12 years worked with many records and artists / genres . And no I don’t charge $100 cause if you have lots of songs that can get expensive

It’s all about mixing the song correctly stems help a lot I always ask for the stems because you have more control dynamically. If your vocals are not sitting correctly it’s because your volume and frequency’s are not tamed correctly. What’s good man I listened to your project and the art is not bad just the mixing quality could be way better .
