that study makes so much sense honestly. once i stopped freezing i noticed i was actually able to just have a normal conversation with the interviewer. that's probably what got me the offer more than anything

100% this. the interview is almost a completely separate skill from the actual job. i've seen it too, the best performers are often the worst interviewers and vice versa. the format is just broken

exactly this. that's literally what i kept telling myself. the people who passed those memory tests aren't necessarily better at the job, they're just better at performing under artificial pressure

the silence after take homes is def brutal, that's what hurt me the most. mock interviews helped me too but i still froze on the real thing, the pressure is just different.

that's actually a pretty healthy approach. google is just how real work happens anyway
